Did you hear about Andreas Noccioni?.......... If you've ever followed any Euroleauge ball you'd know Anthony Parker and you'd know who he was and the best player in it. The fact is you should never judge or make comment on a player unless you've seen them play.

Re: Anthony Parker= More NBA ready Brandon Roy
I'm excited about Anthony Parker, even considering the limited amount of footage I've seen. He's a player I could see fitting in well with our style of play
he can create off the dribble and has a sweet mid range game, and as another poster wrote, he would probably start from day 1 if he signed here.

what does manu or nocioni have ANYTHING to do with Anthony parker? Both those players were 25 years old....AP is on the downside of his career (ie. 30 years old).
Just because they're good in Europe, doesn't mean squat in the NBA.

What do they have in common? Well they both contributed since day1 they were in the NBA. Parker is twice the player either one of thsoe were at the Euroleauge level and for the next few years should be able contribute even more then them. Maybe not Manu, but much more the Noccioni who I do belive was a huge part of the bulls playoff run. Who care's if he's 31 and nearing the end of his prime, for the next few season he should be able to contribute at a bargain basement price and a nice stop gap player like Rasho is.

yep, his age doesn't matter assuming he contribute ASAP, we are not trying to have AP for the next decade or so, we want him now to make the PO.

Re: Anthony Parker= More NBA ready Brandon Roy
I would like to see what Parker can do in the NBA.....but I would not pencil him in as our starter if we do sign him. He may end up as a solid 3 man for us, but there would be an adjustment period to the NBA and the Raptor's team. I would like nothing more than seeing Toronto make the playoffs this year...but AP will not put us over the hump.
I just hope he will be better than the point guard that the Pacers signed last season(he was 30years oldand was great player in the Euro League, but he was not so hot in his NBA debut season...and he was givin a chance. Sorry I can't remember his name.

yeah, Sas said himself that he is more effective with the ball. Moreover, he always played PG, it showed that he was the most effective at the point, I don't see why the Pacers didn't just leave him at the point.
Even fans from europe was talking about how he should only be playing the point. I would pick him up for the raps, but I think we have something better in Calderon, he is younger and has more potential I think.
