You're not alone. You sometimes have to take chances with troubled yet talented players (ie. Rasheed Wallace). I don't see acquiring a Fred Jones or Eddie House as a move that'll push us into a playoffs. We need a complete player like Bonzi. He's a great rebounder from the 2, can score, can defend, he can do it all. I don't think Joey is ready to step it up yet. PJ Tucker? Give me a break. I loved the guy in college but he won't make the 8-man rotation.

I'm going to go out on the line and say that you've never seen him play.

I second this. He's always been a good player who knows how to put the ball in the bucket. If we sign him, we'd be looking at a 19 ppg player next to Bosh. Well, considering he'll most likely get the second most touches on the team.

I just dont think he'll put the effort in this year
if we get him for a reasonable price im on board but if we're paying him based on his performance in the playoffs shoot me now

He's so versatile man. He rebounds like a ****ing small Ben Wallace. Hes basically a PF in a small forward body. Take it for it worth.

He averaged around 17 points per game for Portland playing alongside Sheed and Randoph who were the two main guy running the offense for them. He averaged around 13 ppg for Memphis playing 3rd fiddle to Gasol and Mike Miller. If he comes here, he will most likely be the second option after Bosh. Lets' not forget he so good at getting to the freethrow line and not bad in clutch situations.

Hes' a proven scorer and can creat his own shots better than Mo Pete, lets not get carried away here. Oh, he also does command double teams at times. Bargnani is a rookie, can't compare him to a proven vet.

How bad could his attitude be if the Kings want to keep him for another five years?

Re: Bonzi Wells' agent spotted sitting near/with Raptors execs
Pay Bonzi!!!!!!!!!
adding him to our offence 16/7?? I think is good enough to assure a low playoff seed
PPG/RPG/APG/BPG
9 man rotation rough estimate stats
PG Ford 13/3/8
Sg Wells 16/7/3
SF Peterson 15/5/2
PF Bosh 24/10/1((BPG)
C Nesterovic 6/6/1(BPG)
Bench
PF/C Bargnani 11/5/2/1
Graham 9/6/2
Calderon 6/2/5
[(Parker/Humphries/FA) 3-5 PPG]
103-105 PPG team
+3>>>+5 from last year D will be better with a real C and a deaper bench.

y'know what, anything could still happen and i'm sure the chance we play without bonzi and with someone else is bigger than the chance that we do and we don't ( ) but assuming we did sign bonzi, i just glanced over those stats and thought... pretty realistic and reasonable. good job, jyd.
except, of course, the 103-105 ppg total. that just assumes that everyone's individual avg is compiled over an 82-game schedule, and we all know how likely it is that every player on the roster will play in 82 games.
peace

mo pete will never be our 2nd option on offense
Gnani will be a rook, with James and Eva shipped out, I can honsely see Wells as our 2nd option, although I think that's sorta sad.
depending on how Gnani improves, maybe he can become our 2nd at mid season, he's a suposevely gifted offensive player, but for now ....bleh
