IT is odd that only 3 teams were interested in him, but if you really thing about it, it could make sense. I mean, most teams are now looking more into PG's who can make plays for other wells, or blend into the team effortlessly (especially after Steve Nash's publicity over the last couple of years). On top of that, in some ways it was a breakout year for Mike James, but he was on the 2005-2006 Raptors, I mean, Bosh excluded, he was their best option for scoring (unless you think MP was, but MJ had the ball more because he played point) and on top of that, he was a 30+ year old in a contract year. I think it is simply fear of the worst thats bothering people.
The other thing, babcock_sux made his post a bit short, but considering he quoted a "sign and trade" post, I think he's just stating that he too would have preferred a sign and trade, if not than allow me to quote pmac.
