So I just got back from this at the Waterloo Rec Centre, anyone else go to this? Anyways it was a pretty good game between the black and white team, everyone played hard, no easy buckets, it was a pretty serious game, I think the final score was 96-87 for the black team. The atmosphere of the game was pretty good, it was pretty much a sold out event. I will post some pics later. I know it's just a scrimmage but here's my observations

Chris Bosh- didn't look like he got any bigger, played like his usual self, he led all scorers I think, he knocked down a couple of smooth looking threes, I think we will see more of his three point shooting this season, had a very nice windmill dunk off the backboard during warmup

TJ Ford- wow this guy is amazingly fast, he showed no signs of the spinal cord injury, showed his true pg mentalities but prob still needs to work on his shot

Anthony Parker- from what I saw today, I could see him being a second scoring option, this guy can do it all, nice handles, we all know about his mid range game but he also showed nba 3 pt range, understands how to play, was very impressive today

Andrea Bargnani- showed his talent today, displayed all the skills we heard about, had a pretty nice block on Bosh, he had one play where he caught the ball in the post, drove around his defender and threw down a nice one handed slam, his three pointers wasn't falling down for him tho

Jorge Garbajosa- Missed his first three 3-point attempt but made like all the rest, looks like a team player, played solid defense, rebounded well, he made a couple of nice passes. Would like to see him in the post more instead of wandering around the three point line

Mo-Pete- didn't played like his usual self, missed all his three point attempt, threw up some wild shots

Fred Jones- During warmup, Jones threw the ball in the air, let it bounced, grabbed it in the air and did a 360 dunk, got everyone off their seat, was pretty energetic, knocked down his shots, should contribute a lot this yr

Jose Calderon- was solid, distributed pretty well, played some nice defense

Kris Humphries- didn't do much, grabbed some offensive boards, some dunks

Joey Graham- looked like he improved his handles, didn't look that much difference from last yr

PJ Tucker- looked more impressive than Graham, energetic, knocked down his shots, crashed the boards, had a nice put back dunk over Humphries

Rasho- didn't do much, kocked down some jumpers and grabbed some boards

To be honest I still cant figure out who will be our 2nd scoring option. Obviously Bosh is #1, then there are big question marks weather whos that locked 2nd option. We have players who on SOME nights be effective but that consistant scorer after Bosh we dont have.
