Re: Depth

TJ will have to step uop his game in the playoffs reduce erratic passes and stupid jump shots.

Re: Depth

i agree. when tj dribbles too much he disconnects with the rest of the team who just stand there an look at him as he gets trapped an has to make a panic pass. compare this to jose who is a strong floor general an gets everybody involved. also tj seems to bring the ball up the floor in a lackadasical manner an just shuffles along as if he isnt sure what to do. when he tries to work the pick an roll he is easily stopped an then he goes on a dribbling show. when he stands at the top of the arc an tries to make long fast passes he seems to look too weak an his passes are too soft. then he starts dribbling an makes a sloppy short pass. its almost like he cant play without the ball in his hands. thats my impression of tj who sure is not worth $33 mil as a pg. i even prefer dmartin at pg.

Re: Depth

I think that's a huge statement to say mcnugget is preferable over TJ at the point, but I do agree with everything that was said. TJ needs to learn from Calderon. If TJ could play with a higher bball IQ, he'll be great, I think he has all the tools, it just depends on if he can just ****ing learn. He gets out of control too much. He is a stats machine, but that does not necessarily translate to the floor, I find that he disrupts the offense A LOT. I see a lot of Mike James Syndrome in him, except MJ can actually shoot. I just hate to see him go down the floor then just jack up a shot. I want him to ****ing pass the ball.

Re: Depth

My biggest problem with TJ is that as much as he records a lot of assists (which I think is mainly due to the system), he does not create for his teamates. How many time do you see him run down in the paint just to run the baseline and move back to the top of the arc, then he just makes a pass just to get rid of the ball, not because that is a pass that will actually get any offense running, he is just ****ing getting rid of the ball and most of the time it gets right back to him and it resets. It drives me nuts when he does that.

I'm honestly tired of hearing these "winner" thing, I would like to see how much we would be winning without AP, Gnani, and Jorge. Let's see how much of a "winner" he is with a line up of Bonner, Eric William, Hoffa, and Pape Sow.
