Last years was pretty funny. Kinda liked it.

Hip-Hop might just appeal less to the 35+ and even then it's not quite true because in early 90s, it was beastie boys and all that and the 40 years old would have been in their twenties, the same age where ppl go out and can drink legally.
If that truly was the case, Just play ****ing Tim Mcgraw for crying out loud. There is a reason they are not. And it isn't to "appeal to a white demographic"
please...

I make this arguement having worked for a major record label. The people buying nellie are not the majority of people buying tickets to major sporting events period.
Yes Hip hop does appeal to white 25-35 year old's. I'm white and 25-35 and have an extensive hip hop collection. So much so that I know that Renegades of Funk is a cover of an Afrika Bambaataa song of the same name.
The logic behind the mass appeal of this song is that it is a hip hop song at it's core performed by the fathers of rap rock. It hits both target goups. Much better choice from a marketing stand point.

But Flush is right even though the age range is a bit off I would say white kids age13-18 buy into hip hop more than everybody else but hey it is what it is

Re: Intro
I'm not a RATM hater, so the song was easy on the ears.

Re: Intro
I liked it. RATM takes me back to first year at UW in 1994. Obviously this is somewhat newer... and more appropriate.
