Just because you request something doesn't mean you would get it every single time. The fact that VC broke the rule of being a professional in order to get his demands met is the reason why many Raptors fans lost respect for him. He wlll be a good player and will have a good career in New Jersey, but he will never be a player that I would want on my team simply because of character.

I don't think so. VC could even get better pay from some other teams. That was his market value. He is free to ask to go if you don't like him and he feels very bad here.

Re: Vince Carter
He averaged like 27 on the Nets after he was traded....I know what you're feeling though. It just bothers me that there are so many people who won't let go. Talk about how good Bosh is instead.

That's retarded... we never talk about Vince anymore, unless the Raptors are playing the Nets. I don't know who you hang around lol.

Yea I'm still a VC fan even though I live in Toronto. He's ONE of my favorite players to watch. I'm not downplaying anything. Yea he was a ****ing **** the way he left. The point I'm trying to make is to not forget about the positives that he contributed to either.

Re: Vince Carter
Question: were you upset the way Tracy left Toronto?
There's no denying Vince is a good player, but the way he played for us the last few games he was here was in-excusable. He didn't show any effort and really didn't care to win cuz he was caught up in his own situation. Regardless if he wasn't happy, he should've sucked it up and played hard. If a dr wasn't happy at the hospital he was working at, does that give him/her an excuse to be half-assed?

Re: Vince Carter
Wasn't T-mac a free agent when he left? If so then he has a right to choose where to go to next right...I'll admit I was dissapointed that he didn't wnat to stay.

Carter's agent claimed he lobbied the team backstage for weeks before finally going public with their demand, which was shortly after Babcock's hiring.

VC is a great player. But he is also a normal nice guy like you and me. Tell you what, if I were VC, I even didn’t want to play much time if you guys always gave me overwhelming stupid boos, just let me go! Okay.

But I think nothing wrong with it. Isn’t? For example, if I had a problem with my boss, or were not happy with my company’s policy, I were totally free to let them know that I wanted leave no matter how much you paid me. And before leaving, you could not do crazy bad thing to insult me when I were still working for you.

Re: Vince Carter
I thought it all started when he wanted Dr. J as the new GM, but they hired Babcock because he had more experience.

You're not the perfect example of perspectives as well, buddy.

You want people to let go? The main stance from the pro-Carter Toronto fans is how much he brought to this basketball franchise, as far as saying "he brought basketball to Canada". Something that "important" will continue to last.
