Not including Bosh, who has impress you the most this season?

I've been impress with a lot of players this season.

Garbojosa: When I first heard that they were thinking of signing him, I didn't know much about him, so I did a little research about him, wondering what kind of player he is, and I was impress from what I read he was a very good player, then I saw him play in the World Championships, and he impress me once again. But I didn't know what to expect when he was going to play in a Raptors uniform. He had a very slow start at the beggining of the season but it was all knew to him, playing against basketball . But now he's scoring more, getting rebounds playing good defense, I didnt know he would be this good.

Andrea Bargnani: What can I say about this kid, he's a tremoundous shooter, he has long range, and he can drive to the basket as well, and can finish with nice dunks when he does drive. His defense needs improvement, but he's a good shot blocker. I didnt expect him to develop this quickly, because when Europeans join the NBA, especially at a young age, it takes them at least a couple of years to adjust, well it seems that it took Bargnani a couple of games. Let's just hope that he continues to do so.

Jose Calderon: He has impressed me a lot this season, at the end of last year he had no confidence, and didn't like to take any shots, especially from down town because he didn't think he could make them, well now he's not afraid to shoot those shots because he knows he can make them. When he comes off the bench he gives you instant scoring, and he makes the players he plays with better. He loves this game and it shows, he's a good motivater, and everyone loves to play with him. I didn't expect these results at the beggining of the season. Winning the gold medal for Spain really helped boost his confidence.

Those are the three guys that really impress me so far. I know the season is still young, but the Raptors have played 26 games so far, and there doing better then I expected. Even if there 4 games under 500. and those three players that I just mentioned helped a lot, and will keep doing so in my mind, and get better as the season goes on.

Bargnani. I didn't expect him to show this much potential this early, and this consistently either. He's playing at a high level for the minutes he gets, and he's a favourite for ROY. I didn't expect to be saying that this season.

Bargnani: to see how his game has translated to the NBA from Europe has been a pleasant surprise. I thought it would take him longer to produce at the level that he has shown already. Its the whole potential that he has as an offensive weapon that has really impressed me, especially that first step that he has which, when he harnesses its usefulness, will become unstoppable. As well, his character is just awesome. Remember when he got chewed out by Bosh in Golden State after letting Bierdrins just own him on the boards? Since then he's just shown improvement in his game day after day.

TJ: Initially, he was way out of control, pushing the ball up when we didnt need to, making bad turnovers and not setting up the offense. Now, he has grown into a leader on this squad getting everyone involved on the offense, breaking down opposing defenses with his quickness and ability to get to the net, and taking control over games late (as we saw last night).

Lastly, i would probably say the bench overall. After the loss of Bosh, Calderon, Mo, and Garbo for parts of this season, the team has been able to maintain a fair record and still be in the hunt for the divisional title. Guys like Derick Martin, PJ, upto Rasho, Mo, and Bargnani have all stepped up their games with the losses of key members of the rotation without the team skipping a beat...

I thought I could reply quickly to this thread but as it turns out I don't know what my answer would be. Probably Bargnani but I think he's only shown us a little bit of what he is all about.

Those are all good replies my friends, and I would have to agree with Samurai, the bench has impress me as well, any player that comes off the bench usually gives you instant scoring.

I have to agree with Budweiser saying that Bargnani is the favorite to win ROY, I only see him improving has the season goes on, and the thing that has impress me most of him is his blocking abilities, because we already knew that this guy was a good shooter, but we didn't expect him to block so many shots, no known ever thought he would get six blocks in one game.

Also want to say a little thing about TJ, he's playing really well, but I expected him to play well, so he hasn't really impress me because I knew he was a good player and he could score and pass the ball really well.

Garbojosa has impressed me the most,, TJ ford been playing pretty nicely too

I'm definitely impressed by Bargnani's game. He wasn't just a hyped up Euro like Darko was.

I think the player that surprised me (in a good way) the most so far has been Rasho Nesterovic. I knew that Rasho was a pretty good low post player when he was in Minnesota, but I didn't know that he had a very decent offensive game in terms of passing the ball on top of the arc as well as hitting baseline jumpers.

TJ- he's young and he has alot to learn but this kid has leadership qualities and he really turns it up when he needs to. he wants the rock when its crunch time and hes fearless. TJ will be one the core guys of this team for some time to come.

I impress the most in Raptors team is Garbojosa: defence, rebound and score.
Second guy is PJ Tucker: he bring a lot of energy, defence, and download. He like a Ron Artest.

PJ Tucker? He doesnt even get any minutes. And i have to say Garbo. When Garbo is knockin down shots there aint no stoppin the raps...oh and bargnani has kinda impressed me too
