Artest?
There is some rumors about an Artest for Maggette trade, would you like if Toronto take on Maggette or Artest?
Personally, I'm not sure. I would love to have Artest and his premium defense in our team. Imagine him with Anthony Parker, we can held other teams down without many difficulties (and we would NEVER, I mean, EVER be torched by Kobe with 81 points again!), but we already have Joey Graham, and there is also his baggage.
As for Maggette, I don't know how much he could add here.
Thoughts?

Re: Artest?
Artest will never be happy. He is having a war with Bibby now in SAC. Just too big a headcase to deal with for more than a year. He wants to be a superstar and is very concerned about how many touches he gets and his stats.
Very tempting, but if he was really the player we want and need then he would still be in IND, and SAC would not be looking to move him now. Actually, he would probably still be in CHI.

Re: Artest?
WE need a guy like Magetts who can cut and slash to the basket rather than settle for long jumpers unless Fred Jones cuts down on stupid shots.
Peterson is surley looking like someone who may be a deadline gonner.

Re: Artest?
I love the way Artest plays defense but I hate the way he plays offense; and he's spun.
Buyer beware.

Re: Artest?
I don't think Artest is a Colangelo type of player. Also I don't think Toronto has anything that the Kings will want. With Maggette Toronto will get an upgrade at the SF/SG spot with Maggette over Joey Graham. Although again, I don't know what Toronto can offer the Clips besides Mopete. As I've said before, Mopete is like a weaker version of Cuttino Mobley. I don't see why the Clips would be interested.

And I hate bot a bit since they kill your offense (Mag is iso-guy with steaky shot and so-so D+he makes to much bonhead plays) and Ron is just ****. I agree he has decent offensive skilles (great post-up game/decent shot) but lately he plays like idiot on offense: kills ball movement, takes bad shot after bad shot... So he has skills but hes ego is just too be for team sport.
To sumb up I don't think he would last long as Raptor (if you could get him) since a)he is unstable egomaniac b)he thinks he shold play for big market team (LA/NY) so that he could be in spotlight and sell hes crap-rap...

Artest doesn't sense offensive flow. He works outside the offense like he just came in off the bench every play.

Re: Artest?
i would like corey he could be a good upgrade , and he can improve his game here in toronto , ron artest is a beast but his ego is just too mutch to handle , our lockeroom can't handle ron ron.
in the other hand i dont know what can we give the clips in exchange for corey , but it would be nice if he land in toronto.

Re: Artest?
I think Kobe would bring a lot to the table for the Raptors. Steve Nash too. Don't know if we could get either for MoPete, but I just thought I'd put it out there.
