ok.

but i think a more fitting award for garbajosa would be weirdest rookie (of the month). i think he'd win that one every month.

I've watched almost every single raptor game this season and to be honest, I am not that impressed with Garbojosa. I've not been following other rookies on other teams but on the raptors team alone, Bargnani is doing more for his minutes than Garbo I think. I will be really surprised if Garbo ends up winning the ROY this year. I just don't think the guy is that good even in a horrendous draft class.

without Bosh he has been solid.

can't ask for much more out of a rook.

I think he deserves the award due to some solid games although this shows how weak this rookie class is.

That's great news for the Raptors, because Garbo is playing really well, espcially the last month, I didn't see any other rookie that has played better then he has. Hopefully he can keep it up, because we need all the scoring and rebounding we can get.

This is a very weak rookie class. Garbo i think deserves this honor, he played solid basketball this month and better than any other rookie in the month of december

He's 28 years old. His stats aren't that amazing when you take in the fact that he's been playing professional ball for at least 8 years.

Well for a rook I think he has been VERY solid. No ups and downs, just a solid, constant rock. You know what you'll get with Garbajosa, and that's rare for a rookie. That's why, in this class of uppers and downers like Ammo, Garbo will get the nod. Sure in the longterm other rookies will be become consistently great, but fornow, Jorge deserves the Rookie of the month award.

He is better than his statistics have shown. He is a good defender and a very hard worker, he can play in three positions comfortably, and defend a quick guy or someone strong (He's very versatile).
He’s one of the best players you will find moving without the ball and very clever on the court. He understood the game perfectly and could go higher if he improves his 3P%.

People don’t value enough guys like Garbajosa.
