Re: PJ Tucker sent to D-League
Yeah, good move. Since he wasn't getting any burn in Toronto, might as well send him to the D-League to develop...

Re: PJ Tucker sent to D-League
hahahaha I love that scrub list.
I like Tucker's game - plus he was dynamite in the NCAA.
(was he player of the year? Big 12 player of the year at least? I'm too lazy to google it right now).
I'd give him Garbo's minutes but I realize that comment will draw the ire of the Euro lovers that are teeming in this forum.
I just like the fact that he's strong, tough and always plays like his shorts are on fire.

Re: PJ Tucker sent to D-League
Hey, Oliver Miller was a beast the first time he played for the Raps.
I mean this is the dude who dropped 35 and 15 on the Wolves in '96!

Re: PJ Tucker sent to D-League
Oliver Miller could flat out play the game.
He had tons of issues, including his weight, and just his general attitude, but when the guy was focused on the game, he was an above average forward in the league.
He led his college team (Arkansas) to the Final Four - the dude could play!

Acie Earl dropped 43 on the Boston Celtics.

Re: PJ Tucker sent to D-League
It's unfortunate that PJ got caught in the numbers game. He played very well for a rookie getting very sporadic minutes. 45% shooting is very good for a 6-5 NBA rookie, and guys getting sporadic minutes tend to shoot terribly, like 27.8%.
Break his 71 minutes into two games of "starter's minutes" and he has 12 points and 10 rebounds in each.
He definitely "deserves" NBA minutes. There just aren't many to go around.

Rookie forward P.J. Tucker is settling in nicely with the Colorado 14ers of the NBA Development League.
In his third game with the 14ers, a 95-90 win over Austin on Tuesday, Tucker scored 15 points and pulled in five boards.
In three games in the NBADL, he is averaging 25 minutes, 9.0 points and 4.7 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Toronto native Denham Brown, drafted by the Seattle SuperSonics and playing for the Tulsa 66ers of the D League, is eighth overall in scoring (19.7) and also in the top 20 in rebounds.

Re: PJ Tucker sent to D-League
PJ is the definition of a tweener, 6-5 banger in NCAA is huge, don't think its possible in the NBA.
