That has to be attempts not made. Otherwise, Parker would be averaging about 8.6PPG a game on 3 pts alone which I know is not the case.

that # should keep on climbing. He wasn't shooting well to begin the season and now he can't miss those corner 3's !!! Big props for AP and his improved shooting.

Re: Anthony Parker is top-5 in the NBA shooting threes

It would be awesome to see him in the 3-point contest, but we all know that won't happen. They generally only take star players or role players on top teams... most of the time average 3-point shooters as well.

Have you seen how slow and deliberate his release is? He'd be lucky to finish the third rack before he ran out of time.

Re: Anthony Parker is top-5 in the NBA shooting threes

AP has blown my mind with his improvement shooting the 3-rock. I thought it was going to be a weakness for him, as I watch the start of the season. Pretty sure he didn't shoot anything close to this level with maccabi either.

Steve Nash. Is this guy special or what? He's become one of the best shooters of all time in my mind.

This is true. He doesn't waste a good look by hucking it up. The 3P competition probably isn't for him--but shooting ~45% on the season is more than we could ask for, so who cares?

Re: Anthony Parker is top-5 in the NBA shooting threes

Skywalker couldnt agree more. Nash is simply amazing and deserves to go down as one of the all time greats can we mention him in the pg bracket with the likes of stockton and magic? i think so. 3timeMVP for sure unless his former teammate Nowitizki steals it somehow.

Props to Parker now if only Bargs would shoot a higher %

Re: Anthony Parker is top-5 in the NBA shooting threes

I think he is making less than 2 a game though, those stats are aberation, I mean come on, Harrington is up there. We'll talk again when he has atleast 2.5 made per game. Right now, the only ones who should qualify are the ones who shot more than 200 attemps.

Re: Anthony Parker is top-5 in the NBA shooting threes

2.5 made a game? Mike Miller, Agent Zero, Raja Bell, Steve Nash, Ray Allen and JR Smith are the only ones in the entire league who fit that criteria.

Re: Anthony Parker is top-5 in the NBA shooting threes

Mike Miller, Zero, Nash and Allen ARE in the REAL top 5 of the league (Although I think Allen's % dipped this year)

I'm sorry but as much as Parker is shooting well, he is not worth of the discussion of top 5 3pt shooters.

Also, sorry, I meant he should only be discussed with the top 3pt shooters of the league when he attempts more. At least 4.5 if no 5 attempts a game. Parker is shooting well, but he's not even attempting that much.
