Re: Bargnani has appendectomy
Juan Guzman was great in the early 90s, probably the first pitcher that got me into the game of baseball. Too bad he seemed to meltdown before we shipped him off to Baltimore.

Re: Bargnani has appendectomy
Guzman is really gonna have to step it up with Mago out. Kris Humphries as well.

Re: Bargnani has appendectomy
Anybody remember Patrick Roy's recovery/
In 1994, the Canadiens were the defending champions but they were knocked out in the first round by the Boston Bruins. Nonetheless, that seven game series was notable in the eyes of Montreal fans as Roy came down with appendicitis and missed game three. He convinced doctors to let him return for Game Four and led the Canadiens to a 5-2 victory, stopping 39 shots

Re: Bargnani has appendectomy
This is not good news for the Raptors, he could be out for awhile, hopefully he'll be ready for playoff time. Someone is going to need to step up while he's gone. Because he'll surely be miss.

I know the joy in that. Portland holds the record for consecutive playoff births in the NBA at 22 years in a row. Longer than your home team has even been in the league. We also won the NBA championship in our 5th year of existance, and played for the title 2 other times.....How many have you won again?
I don't really want to get into a pissing match with you, I like the Raptors roster, and think they will be good for awhile. Portland has incredible young talent as well, and hopefully we can meet in the championship one day soon.

Opened up like a pinhole in a blanket.
The Raps can go 7-8 the rest of the way and the Nets would have to go 14-1... or something like that.

game, set, match.
sucks to see the big man go down. i missed the bulk of the interview, but at the end of his 590 interview with mr.colangelo, it was mentioned that everyone is unsure exactly how long he will be out, between 10 days and a month.

Re: Bargnani has appendectomy
Here's hoping for a swift recovery and getting him back soon.
(Ok, he probably shouldn't have a drink, so I'll have both.)
