that is dangerous talk. i want no part of the nets. obviously we SHOULD beat them if we play them, but they still have 3 all-stars and it might just be a big enough stage to get vince to play with heart...which is always scary.
we need the nets to lose to the cavs...and the wiz to pick up a win somewhere...somehow.

Re: Raptors Vs. Heat for 3rd seed/James Posey arrested
Aside for the 3rd seed fight, we should be looking at it from a different perspective; the 6th seed. Currently, Washigton holds that spot for 6th while the Nets are only 2 games behind. The chase has begun for the Nets last week when Gilbert was shelved for the season. The Nets just as Washigton have 5 games reamining to conclude this season and position themselves for a post-season push. The Nets have the upper-hand since their top three players are well and active while the Wizards have only one out of their three stars up and running.
Assuming we hold on to our 3rd seed by end of the season, its for our benefit to cheer for Washigton' success for it will be easier to deal in the first round rather than have Vince and company come to Air Canada. I am all about competition, however, i want the raptors to experience a playoff success and build momentum heading into the second round. The Nets have more experience in that field, and that might haunt us. Than again, it might not be for Nets interest to face us, especially at home. What are your thoughts heading to the playoffs vs. the 6th seed?
Nets Schedule
April 12 @ CLE
April 13 vs NYK
April 15 @ IND
April 16 @ NYK
April 18 vs CHI
VERSUS
Wizards Schedule
April 11 @ MIA
April 13 @ ATL
April 15 vs CHI
April 17 vs ORL
Arpil 18 @ IND
Though the Wizards lost their last 5 games, they are playing tough, dont count them out.

I really don't want to see the Nets in the first round. Like really. From the chaos that will come to both teams' forums to just the fact that the Nets are much more dangerous than Washington.

^ Ford roasts Kidd every time we play the Nets. Ford and Calderon are both too fast for him. If Anthony Johnson can punk Kidd, our guards, including Dixon, will eat him up.

Washington @ Miami tonight... this one will affect us, no doubt.

Predictably, Miami defeats Washington.
The Wizards drop their sixth straight.
Miami pulls to 2.5 games behind Toronto.
Washington drops to only 1.5 games ahead of New Jersey.
