I was hoping that they'd downgrade Mo's flagrant-2 to a flagrant-1, but I never expected them to overturn Jose's tech. Does that ever happen in the NBA?! It does make sense for them to overturn it though, since he was arguing about what is now a non-existent foul. Either way, good stuff. Glad to see the league get it right for a change.

Rasheed Wallace has had a few techs overturned over the years. If I recall correctly, I believe the league office reviews ever tech called and decides if it was just/unjust. Obviously, most techs are warranted. The right call is downgrading Peterson's (it was clearly a flagrant-1, just as he was clearly going for the ball and didn't make it in time). I didn't think they'd overturn Calderon's tech. I'm glad they did, though.

They said on the Fan that Jose's tech was apparently for touching a ref and not for arguing the call. The NBA found no video evidence that actually showed him making physical contact, and so they overturned it.

Alot of tech's are getting overturned now. Simply because when you hit a certain number you get automatically suspended (which is a new rule) and the league wants to make sure there all somewhat legit.

refs are only human, but I hate the ones that try and take over the games like that Chicago game.

they killed any flow to the game and made it a non stop parade to the free throw line....with Toronto shooting 37 and Chicago 26

when the game is over, it's never good when ur talking bout the refs.
