Re: Juan's role solidified?
dixon did have his moments. and he played strongly enough to displace mo. after hurting his hand, however, he was stinky at the end of the season and in the playoffs. he also didn't seem able to gain sam's confidence as a third-string pointguard--that would have helped a lot. without being able to spot PG, jaun might find himself with a limited to nonexistent role. parker is (so far) a lock, delfino will be a big piece of the rotation, kapono fills the shooter need even if he's not a so called shooting guard. luke jackson's there, too. hm... if sam only uses parker, delfino, and juan at the two, dixon could still squeeze in a few minutes. when he's 'on', he can help a lot.
i don't think the team feels wedded to him. we could even see a disgruntled dixon before the end of the season but we do need to have guys that have ending contracts for next summer and he's one of them. he has an ability to contribute. will he be allowed to is more the question.
