Any of you guys think it would have been better not to make any move this offseason and wait till next year (best free agent class ever?)to spend the (little) money we had?
if have sort of a feeling that the moves we made this year are not going to help our team much. i obviously hope i'm wrong but ive been thinking about it and i can't help thinking so.

With Rasho's option kicking-in next season we are going to be in a very similar financial situation to where we are now.

Barring any significant trades this summer/season, it will be the MLE and filler again next off-season.

As speedy said, our amount of available money will still be the MLE and other exceptions, which will actually get to higher amounts next season. The question would be whether BC could collect contracts that expire after the season - enough to get back under the cap. I don't see that happening - I think we'll be playing above the cap until this team is blown up down the road.

Besides, there's no guarantee that any of those potential FAs will even be FAs. More than a few of them will re-up with their current teams, esp. the huge names.
