I was curious what it would cost the raptors to get Steve Nash.. i understand that he would not be traded.. but if he were on the table, and colangelo was willing to deal players for him, what would it cost to get it done..

Kind of a weird question. Depends what the Suns were trying to do.

If they want to stay at the top of the West they would have to ask for Bosh. If they are totally rebuilding they would want cap space and draft picks plus some young talent.
Best Raps would offer:

Ford and Bargnani plus filler like Graham or Dixon or Hump. Suns would likely want Garbo or Parker as filler.

Jose and Bargnani and Rasho plus a couple of 1st round picks?


Pointless to speculate with Suns so close to a title last year and Toronto not looking for just a 2 year window to win I don't think.

With Nash on the team, we wouldn't need Calderon as much, Ford can be used in a barbosa type of way (hoping that he can shoot as well, doesn't really matter as long as he can score off the bench and distribute), AP would def interest suns because he can shoot the 3 and defend, maybe Kapono. They would prolly want young talent so they would want Bargnani.


Nash wouldn't be traded alone, it would most likely be a Nash + Marion or Nash + STAT.

If it is Nash + Marion, they would prolly want Calderon, AB, AP, JK + filler on both sides to make it work

Nash + STAT, they would have to get Bosh, maybe we get to keep AB, but JC, AP and JK are most likely gone.

Come to think about it, Nash + STAT + AB could be very nice.

Nash + Marion + Bosh would be as nice too.
