Re: Preseason: Toronto Raptors v. Real Madrid
Garbo saving this team with his play...the only stabilizing force for the Raps in the 4th as they have just been sloppy and cant dont anything on offense/cant finish...

Re: Preseason: Toronto Raptors v. Real Madrid
How does TJ not score when hes got a mismatch with Madrid's big man?
Garbo and AP both down after colliding into each other's heads....both look to be alright tho

Re: Preseason: Toronto Raptors v. Real Madrid
That turnover by Ford late in the game is an example of the whole TJ playing fast (out of control) instead of quick (playing under control)...gotta clean that up during the season...

Re: Preseason: Toronto Raptors v. Real Madrid
TJ has been horrible in this game. Way too much dribbling.

That game was lost due to bad team defense

Re: Preseason: Toronto Raptors v. Real Madrid
I really don't like what I saw out of the Raps in this game. It's still the same team as last year. No rebounding, weak defense in and out, lack of low post scoring. I know that Bosh was out for this one, but the way that the team played without him was pathetic. If it weren't for some wide open misses from Madrid, we could've lost this one by double digits. I hope BC makes a few moves this season hopefully before Christmas break. The team that we have now will not be good enough to push us past the first round if not the 2nd.
But hats off to Real Madrid, they played a great game. They have a well balanced team with good low post scoring and outside shooters.

Re: Preseason: Toronto Raptors v. Real Madrid
^yea its become the norm now the gap between euroleague and the nba not as wide now I think having so many international stars in the nba has made the media and fans lighten up on this kind of thing

Its particularly sad when you think about it. The best post player on the court was on Madrid's team, not ours...If we lose Bosh for extended periods of time this season, we are in trouble since if we are shooting well from outside, we wont be able to buy a basket...

Re: Preseason: Toronto Raptors v. Real Madrid
hmmm really weird difference of opinions, but to me tj was the best player for toronto today, in the beginning of the game he was imposing his game @ will.. i guess however in the end it looked like we gave up. TJ was a good performer outside of bargs who's shot wasn't falling. Andrea really did impress me tho with his rebounding & low-post attempts, anyone else feel the same?
+ entirely too weak a rebounding game, + players were slow on the switch, + open shots that usually fall werent, - bosh = L
