Re: Tor @ Mil 11/06/2007
I belive that the last time they met, Bosh drove Bogut crazy and got him thrown out of the game. I would do more of the same this game.
I fully expect the Raptors to beat the Bucks. But, I'm really hoping that they continue to play good defense and rebound well. If they can get more consistency in those areas, they will be a very good team. They have 2 back-to-backs coming up, so it would be nice to win a few blowouts.

Re: Tor @ Mil 11/06/2007
Sorry was on the phone when I made the thread, hence just the pathetic ‘we will win’ statement.
Key Matchups
Bosh and Bargnani v Yi and Bogut – I remember last years game where Bogut dominated the boards and had that possession where he missed three lay in attempts yet kept getting the offensive board until he scored, hopefully with Bargnani now more of a rebounding force we can control that sort of thing. Bosh is going to be impossible to defend for Yi who will probably be overwhelmed with Boshs skillset. That being said Yi has a very nice stroke somewhat similar to our rising star Andrea and will definitely test Bosh a few times tonight. Bargs should eat this game up especially after his poor showing against Celtics; he should be pumped and extremely focused.
TJ v Mo – With Ford against his former team expect him to look for his shot a little more than usual especially with his superhuman effort against the Celtics fresh in his memory. Mo is not a star player but gets things done somewhat in the same vain as Calderon but Mo can light up the scoreboard if he gets his game on. Both streaky sort of players where one night they are potential all stars others they get pulled in the first 5 minutes for there respective back ups.
Redd v Parker – Redd when hot is the best damn shooter this league has, whether he has a hand in his face or back to the basket if this guy is in his groove that shot is falling. Parker will no doubt share defensive responsibilities on this guy with Delfino and I for one am praying they keep him cold early on so the Raptors can build a lead.
My pre-game thoughts
Charlie back in the building!!!! Definitely deserves a cheer when he steps on court has a lot of fans still in the city of Toronto and deservedly so. I am honestly excited to see what we can do to a team like the Bucks they are somewhat in our mould but we are better at almost every position barring SG. Bargnani will have a solid effort all round, Delfino will give another box score pleasing performance but look for Jason Kapono to be the man who will hit a few crunch shats
Due to all the intangibles I am PUMPED for this game. Bosh is going to be a monster I can feel it.
Go Raps Go!!!

Re: Tor @ Mil 11/06/2007
good on the thread, i was not going to make one as i usually do the night before gameday.
I know the Bucks are competent opposition, i just did not have the drive to do one for them compared to Nets/Celtics Lol, but as youve already done the dirty work... this will be interesting to see how this team rebounds after the boston game.
Will we have energy? that fire to close the game out? will garbo get court time? will chilli villi even get playing time?
Yi vs. Nani *bargnani is gonna sun him like yue*
Vitals: we need to send Delfino/Parker @ Redd heavy.
*don't forget the bucks have Bobby Simmons & Des Mason back, it is gonna be tough.

Re: Tor @ Mil 11/06/2007
This will be a tough game...these are not the bucks we played at any point last year.
Add Yi, add a healthy redd and charlie V, and add desmond mason.
Big game...let's see if we really are an improved team on the road.

Milwaukee will be a tough opponent....hopefully the Raps can get off to a better start tonight
Looks like Yi is stealing Charlies minutes of late

Redd had a monster game against Utah, hopefully Delfino and Parker can contain him tonight.

Re: Tor @ Mil 11/06/2007
Okay, the Milwaukee commentators are comparing Bargnani with Yi and the one ******* just said "It's taken a year for Bargnani to get where Yi is now." And the other guy just agreed and didn't question it at all! I mean, I know local commentators are beyond stupid but still... I guess I'm upset because the Raps are losing 31-16. I'm not amused.

Humphries just went off for 7 points in less than a minute! Raps still down, 37-23 at the end of the 1st.

I don't know about you but Yi looked as good or better than Bargnani, in the first quarter atleast
Bargnani and the whole team for that matter look asleep
Chris played as useless a couple minutes I've ever seen him play before picking up his first 2 fouls
this game looks over before the half

Re: Tor @ Mil 11/06/2007
now now, lets not start a Bargs v.s. Yi rivalry, Yi's obviously my fav and Bargs is not far off. Yi's receiving far too much homerism though, I still think Bargs has the higher ceiling.
Not sure where this Milwaukee offense came from all of a sudden, but they are making the Raps look pretty bad...
