sorry, i didn't "crack" on you, i don't "crack" on anyone. my only comment was on the story itself. if mediatypes want to take smitch to task on account of morals or ethics, that's awfully hypocritical imo. i heard complaints about this issue throughout the day and i can't say it's not symptomatic of the underlying problem.

it's not that i necessarily agree with it (sam's tirade), i just think the media's reaction to it has been awkward. here's an extreme analogy: would anyone feel sorry for a murderer if his children were physically abused at school? it'd be hard to- not because you'd agree with the physical abuse, just that... it's a murderer who's requesting the sympathy.

take what you said, "so if he cracks on me, i will crack back on him..." it appears sam's just following the same logic.

I didn't hear what he said, but the fact that it is Tony Ambrosio makes it funny. Sam can rub people the wrong way, and it is tough to tell sometime if he is being sarcastic or serious, but it usually best to assume he is joking around with the media.

On an unrelated topic, On the post-game on Wednesday with Eric Smith and Paul Jones, they apparently snapped at the number of callers talking about trading Ford. Jones told one caller to get a life. And last night on Hoops, Smith had a rant at the start of the show saying he didn't want any more callers on the subject. They said there is no possibility of a trade happening, so there is absolutely no point of discussing it. So if anyone else is sick of this debate, you are not alone.

For all the crap the Toronto media gives the Raptors/Leafs/Jays, I can care less what Sam says about them or to them. Nine times out of 10 he gets asked a stupid question which starts to stir up some controversy to get people to read thier paper or watch their channel. If Sam wants to dish out **** right back to them, I'mm all for it.
