Re: 12/18: Toronto (14-11) @ LA Clippers (9-14)
another unimpressive win. some would take it because it's a win, and i normally would too, but this is bordering on the ridiculous. the clippers should not have posed the problem they did. the clippers should not have exploded out of the gate the way they did. richie frahm is a name i don't expect to hear again. dan dickau and brevin knight is not a floor general tandem that would ever intimidate me. chris kaman is a better player than he was, and they need him to be, but i fail to understand how he can improve- noticeably- while players like bargnani (and joey... and even jamario?) can regress- noticeably- under our staff. is it the players or is it something/someone else? i'm just not impressed, man. i want to be. but i'm not.
you're tempting fate when anonymous players seem to explode for career games against you on a regular basis. it happens from time to time to everyone, of course, but i'm getting tired of hearing about it in toronto. the raps are missing a key ingredient, imo- not just a more durable roster- and i'm left wondering where they'll get it. maybe delfino- but that should tell you all you need to know. carlos delfino has become the great hope.
anyway, i thought parker had a good game. he looked fresh. he might get on track here.
but i expect the raptors to lose tonight. complacency kills.
