12/18: Toronto (14-11) @ LA Clippers (9-14)

Jose Calderon - Anthony Parker - Jamario Moon - Chris Bosh - Rasho Nesterovic
vs. The Clips
-Moon needs to play Maggette well.
-Bosh/Rasho need to play tough on Kaman.
-we will get the W if those two plans are carried out.
Injuries:
-Ford still out for Toronto.
-Mobley may not play, Tim Thomas & Sam Cassell are still out, Ruben Patterson was also waived days ago

I think we get this one. After a bad lost to the Celts, Raps will come out looking to start the road trip well

Nothing going inside AT ALL! Everything has been forced outside and the Raps just havent been able to score. Need to attack but no one has made a consistent effort to do so...frustrating...

Bosh is a frustrating player to watch. The more and more I watch, the more I start to think that he's one of those "thrown in as the face of the franchise" type player like an Andre Iguodala. I really don't think he's that franchise player like VC was during the glory years.

Raps picking it up on defense in the 3rd and pushing the ball inside on offense...looking better...

Re: 12/18: Toronto (14-11) @ LA Clippers (9-14)
Just as I say that, Bosh starts driving. I don't understand why he settles for jumpshots when he can just keep driving to the net. I wish he had Magette's agressiveness. I mean, I dig his jumpshot and it's a deadly weapon, but his dribble drive is so hard to stop for the opposing team's power forwards.
The team just plays so much better when he's aggressive and going to the rack/foul line.

A win is a win I suppose. Shoulda had this game over with earlier, but our offense just seemed to be laboring and couldnt get into a groove.
I'll take it, but we're in tough tomorrow night against the Blazers who have been playing great basketball...

lol, that last defensive play by the Clippers was down right ridiculous. Every Raptor fan saw that play develop, Dickaw never had a chance.

Re: 12/18: Toronto (14-11) @ LA Clippers (9-14)
the moon/bosh blocks on maggette to the calderon fast break AP back to moon for the dunk was SICK, WICKED, & NASTY!
bosh really started driving the 2nd half, i think 14points in the 3rd Q... got to the line numerous times, we really shut down the clippers in that 2nd half... rasho & the whole team did a great job on kaman, one of the better jobs this year on shaggy... & corey did not do much, he got to the line but shot a horrible percentage thanks to Jamario... i'm starting to think after the Pacer game & tonights that we really don't try until the 2nd half...... really bad groove to get into...
15-11 now tho, can't complain, the D was great to see the 3rd & 4th.. clips made a run @ the end tho.

Re: 12/18: Toronto (14-11) @ LA Clippers (9-14)
The Clippers just don't have the talent to compete with anybody right now especially with Mobley and Cassell out. They have Kaman and Maggette and the rest of the team is full of d-leaguers. It's sad when you think about the success they had just 2 years ago.

Portland will be tougher, we gotta start making Fg's seems to many guys are shooting bricks, only way we were scoring was low post CB4, drives, Calderon, Delfino
Kapono, AP, Moon Bargs are struggling from beyond the arc and even jumpshots
BARGS HAS GOTTA START SCORING

KG must have been playing for the Clips last night because only he could create that stifling first half D and orchestrate all those points for Richie Frahm. KG torched us, not Richie Frahm.
