great moral boost for Toronto as a whole.. great win, our very very very end of bench guys in Joey & Maceo played very well in the final 8 minutes..

3 big finishes around the hoop for Mace, finished with like 6pts, 4rebound in 8min, Joey had two really nice strong turn around power moves for jumpers.. everybody gets to play tonight, everybody plays well, we get the W, everybody goes home feeling good, that's whats up.

I missed a lot of the game unfortunately but how good is it to see Bargnani playing decent ball again? The guy is actually starting to look a little bit comfortable boxing out his man, jumping, and catching the ball with both hands. I've also noticed him doing some decent positioning for offensive rebounds too. The kid is slowly coming along.

His progress and TJ's return will make or break our momentum going into the post-season. I'm optimistic.

Maceo Baston was boxing out aggressively in his final minutes on the court.. time & score aside.. Sam probably liked seeing that.

on the subject of Maceo Baston, when we signed him I thought he was supposed to be a decent player off the bench for us, why hasnt he played more? Every time he sees action I happen to miss the game but he seems like a decent player.

Humphries and Rasho are just better options at the 4/5. If you look at the players that gets play time on the Raptors, they are all guys that have some sort of offensive games. You won't find Adonal Foyle or DeSagna Diop type of guys on the Raptors.

Baston is said to be used primarily as a practice dummy for Chris Bosh. Would make sense considering he shares some similar physical traits as Bosh. Both have good length and quick for their size.

yeah, pretty much, it's not for lack of talent.. hump has to this point apparantly earned it in practice or else mace would be getting the time.. like i've always said, maceo is probably the best finisher toronto has around the basket, & that is including bosh IMO.. hump & rasho are just ahead on the depth chart right now.

still.. i love the depth, our last guy off the bench can come in and drop a couple alley oops & 4 rebounds with good defence in about 8mins, that is after seeing no action in the past two months.

Its nice to blow out this Wiz team, but its hard to enjoy with the bitter taste of last night still there. We should have taken both these games. If we are going to be a very good team we have to take both those games. Both teams knew that first game was big. Wiz responded and Raps wilted as they have done in many games that were hyped to be 'big'. That's disturbing

I can't even enjoy Bargs night because he still looked the same out there and then you see Blatche moving like a 6'6" player and you wish Andrea had that same versatility.
