Oh yeah.
Playing a WOPPING 13 minutes per game, in 51 out of 82 games.

Offensively, the wings are fine. If Delfino can add some lockdown defense, he's be exactly what the Raps need.
|
How do you add lockdown defense? ahaha.
Delfino is our best defender.. its offensively he needs to improve by taking advantage of his ball skills more often, although he's doing a much better job of that lately.

Re: Rumor: Raps/Suns Interested in Iguodala
obviously this trade would seem ridiculous for philly, i mean why would they trade iggly? but it's pretty well documented that iggly is unhappy in philly which was the main reason why he turned down that 67million. he's only been the leader of that team for less than 2 seasons and he's already tired of the losing and wants out. it would cost philly franchise player kind of money to keep him, in which case they would certainly entertain offers for iguodala.
i would welcome a trade that brings in iguodala, as long as we don't give up bosh or calderon in the process.

Re: Rumor: Raps/Suns Interested in Iguodala
Heat won with Posey and Walker at the 3. Kap barely played. If anything his impact was in practice to get Pose and Shimmy better.
Bargs for Iggy? I thought that was sarcastic. I guess he wasn't kidding. Unless we give up somebody else not named Bosh/Calderon as well and get Dalembert.
Otherwise it doesn't make any sense.

Re: Rumor: Raps/Suns Interested in Iguodala
Sometimes you have to cripple your budget in order to get to that next level. I'm sure MLSE has no problem paying the luxury tax as we are one of the biggest markets in sports.
BUT, Theres no way we can even steal Sammy and Iggy away from Philly without giving up Calderon or Bosh. Sure Ford and Bargnani are nice pieces, but both of there trade value are low right now.
I don't think we're making a move before the trade deadline. Which is probably a good thing, because we're not good enough to rent a player like Maggette or Artest for the rest of the year, because even with the addition of those guys we're not winning the East.
