that's right, the staff of my company (Ontario Basketball) will face off against the staff of Canada Basketball and the Raptors staff today on the practice court of the ACC.

i'm pretty hyped, i mean this is where CB$ and the boys do their thing. the really neat part is that we all get new Jordan's from Nike - sweat!

i'll let you guys know how it all works out, hopefully we kick some butt and more importantly I make some serious connections.

i haven't played in a long time and am really slow so i'm kinda worried about letting my teammates down but worst case scenario I'll just pass it out of the block.

anything ya'll want me to look for and report on about the facility?

i might be able to disclose the lineups after but because it's a private function and i'm employeed by one of the major players i should only speak to my situation.

i just got the Jordan 23's! I'll admit, a little tear came to my eye when i saw them.

i'll be playing the four mostly.

awesome opportunity, though. you'll have a ton of fun. if i was there and wanted to recreate some acc classics, i'd probably drop to the floor around midcourt clutching my ankle and screaming to the heavens- and ask everyone to call me vince while i do it. just to see why he enjoyed it so much.

so we kinda got our butts kicked but damn did we look good doing it.

i got to meet some really big rollers that run basketball in this country so that was dope.

i also meet this girl who might be the coolest chick ever. she got a D1 scholarship and can ball like nothing else. we had a moment at the bar and when i blocked here in the post. i wanted to hook up and make a draft pick but my g/f probably wouldn't appreciate it too much so i gave it to my hommie.

i'm sooo sore today. the thing that really shocked me was that it wasn't my legs that let me down (still got a pretty huge vert) but my skinny little arms let me down. my shot was like three inches short every time, just no lift on it.

i got to guard this 6'7, 250 + monster (I'm 6'3, 185), which was kinda fun only because I hacked him to death.

i'll get some pics up over the weekend but check this out. Smitch was there watching us. at one point a boxed this dude out and grab a board then turn to Smitch, point and nod - he nodded back!

dude, i get so much free stuff at this job it ain't even funny. i'm good with it though. i'm really poor so it's not like i can buy any of this stuff myself plus, i bring a lot of stuff back to the hood for kids (shoes, balls, shirts etc).

Chuck and Leo weren't there, more behind the scenes then the actual 'talent'.
