3/4 Game Thread: Toronto Raptors (32-26) @ Orlando Magic (38-23)
Starting Lineup:
Toronto
Nesterovic
Bargnani
Moon
Parker
Calderon
Orlando
Dwight Howard
Hedo Turkoglu
Rashard Lewis
Mo Evans
Carlos Arroyo
The Raptors continue their road trip without Chris Bosh in Orlando against the rising Magic team that has won 4 of their last 5 games. Toronto meanwhile has lost 2 straight against sub .500 teams Indiana and Charlotte. Orlando will be without their starting PG Jameel Nelson and backup PG Keyon Dooling for this game.
Keys to the game
- Contain Dwight Howard. It's close to mission impossible at this point without Bosh. Howard will likely have his way inside, but the least the Raptors can do secure the defensive rebounds and not let Howard rack up 2nd chance points.
- Defend the perimeter. Both Turkoglu and Lewis have the ability to put the ball on the floor, Turkoglu especially. Bargnani need to stay out of foul trouble guarding either one of them as we need his scoring.
- Calderon/Ford. The 2 of them have been anything but impressive as of late. With Bosh out, these 2 are our best players and they need to have a good game for us to have a chance of winning.

Howard's kryptonite - Chris Bosh - is out. This is bad news for the Raptors.
EDIT: The game's on NBA TV. Too bad Bosh is out. :-(

not a good start. We have no offense without Bosh, and Bargnani is bricking 3s again. Dude needs to go inside, it doesn't matter if he gets blocked.

not only is he bricking 3's he has ABSOLUTELY ZERO finish around the basket.
I am sick and tired of seeing Bargnani glide into the paint and then wildly flail up a layup attempt that has no chance of going in. I mean, I dont think I've ever seen a player with less touch inside when he doesnt dunk than Bargnani.
Basically, Bargs either better dunk the ball inside, or its going to be a brick

Why do we have Bargnani on Dwight Howard in the 4th?
Howard with a spin move and allyoop to bring the lead to 10....where the hell is Rasho?
and you cant tell me its for offensive reasons since all we're running is TJ iso plays for the last 3 mins...
