3/5 Game Thread: Toronto Raptors (32-27) @ Miami Heat (11-46)
Starting Lineup
Toronto
Nesterovic
Bargnani
Moon
Parker
Calderon
Miami
Mark Blount
Udonis Haslem
Shawn Marion
Dwyane Wade
Jason Williams
The Raptors look to avoid a season-worst 4 game losing streak against the worst team in the league. The Raptors will again be without Chris Bosh for this one.
Keys to the game
- Get off to a better start. The Raptors need to put the pedal down from the very beginning, you do not want to go against Wade down the stretch in a close game.
- Take care of defensive boards. The Raptors did a decent job against the Magic last game. Shawn Marion is very active on the offensive board, look for Moon or Delfino to put a body on him.
- Play with a sense of urgency. The Raptors cannot afford to lose this one especially with a difficult west coast road trip just around the corner. Guys like Delfino, Bargnani, and Moon needs to step up their games.

This could be a very tough game to get....I hope Sam does not go to his smallball line up tonight.

Wade & Marion are going to know about our recent troubles & w/o Bosh they'll really be confident in the Win..
Damn.
i don't really have faith our guys can get it done on D w/o Bosh as anchor.. his leadership is beyond his play.

i don't know when chris bosh became so important for this team. i thought we thrived on our depth.
and almost forgot that we're playing the team with the worst record in the league tonight. if we honestly expect to lose, that's all you need to know. i don't know what else needs to be said.
peace

Pretty even matchup at this point. Pretty sad.
Almost makes you wish that we were the team missing the playoffs and guaranteed a top 3 pick...almost.

depth, we do have. we have 10-12 good role players. we have no second scoring option, thats the problem.
i have absolutely NO confidence in this team without Bosh.
wouldn't be surprised if we lost.
Go Raps? lol

if i knew bargnani was going to play like this, i wouldnt have made my earlier comments.
10pts, 1st Q, passes, 3's & strong drives.
Parker is getting some help
