They say you don't want to peak too early. And we obviously haven't done that. The question is how much is left in the tank and the level to which you're capable of elevating your play.

Can Sam can put this team's collective ego back on track and focused on the task at hand? Finish the season strong and carry momentum into the post season? He got the blowout that he wanted to put an end to their losing and I'm sure he had his share of lessons to preach and he got Chris Bosh back. He's through the worst of the schedule. Things are looking up for old Sam.

CB4 was held out of the lineup to make sure he's healthy for the post-season. I'm sure he would have been back games ago in years gone by. Fact is we had a favourable lead in games and used it to get Chris healthy.

Sam has had some interesting sub patterns but you can't argue that he hasn't given his young guys experience. Moon and Bargs and Delfino and Hump have gotten plenty of burn. It's on these guys to perform around Bosh and the PGs. They're all legit players in their own right, and any of them can step up on a given night. We forget that we're struggling through this season with a sophomore Italian starting at center and a rookie harlem globetrotter at SF. Will they be ready for the playoffs? I've seen improvement but they've got another level in them.

The vets are looking solid right now. Rasho and AP are both getting up and throwing it down! I don't care what anyone says. Both of them are still in their prime. You know what you're going to get from them.

Right now all eyes are on Jose and TJ. If Sam can get them clicking for 48 minutes a night, we're going to hit the ground running against either Cleveland or Orlando and give them a hell a fight. TJ's healthy so I don't see why this can't happen now that CB4 is back. He should, by all rights, be the best backup PG in the league. Time for him to step up.

So hear we go. Destiny lies in wait. Win or lose, it's going to be one helluva ride.

I have us finishing at 42-40. Will that be good enough for the 6th seed in the East? The Sixers are on a roll lately and have a good chance to overtake us.

The Wizards have 5 easy games left against Miami twice, Milwaukee, Seattle, and Indiana. The Sixers only have Indiana and Charlotte that are giveaways, but they are playing the best basketball out of the 3 teams. If chips fall into place, the Wizards should take the 5th seed while the Raptors secure 6th and play Orlando. If we drop to 7th, then that's pretty much it for us playing Detroit.

I think when we look back at the season, those losses against Seattle, New York, Washington -Butler twice, and the Clippers will definitely come back to haunt us. If we won all these gimmes, we would be close to 47 wins last year.

Have to fend off the Sixers. They're surging but we can't complain with our remaining schedule.

Big game coming up at Cleveland. Gotta build. Gotta get better.

don't forget we gave away games to Boston (1st meeting), Utah at home, Orlando (1st meeting),golden state at home, Cavs at home thanks to CB girl man the 1st 15 games or so was rough play poorly for 3 quarters then wait till the 4th to make a run all those should of been W if the raps played at there regular standard from the start all is forgiven though if we slip to 6th

I want Orlando for sure. Cleveland is just too good at rebounding and Lebron is just too good period. I don't think I'm underrating the Magic (they're a damn good team) when I say they're the more beatable team from a Raptor perspective - limited playoff experience, favourable point gaurd matchups, nobody to guard Bosh, limited star power on the wing, and focussed around a big that struggles at the line (though his shot is looking a lot better).

I think TJ will have adjusted to his backup role and can torch Arroyo off the bench.

Most importantly we're healthy. That's all you can really ask for, going into the playoffs.

3 tough ones to start this race to the playoffs. Would be really nice to win one of the 3. Cleveland is a potential post-season matchup and Lebron will look to establish dominance. Denver just stomped us - we've got a shot at redemption. Detroit...is good.

After those 3 we're set to make a run at just the right time.

Just looking at the schedules for Raps, PHI, and Wiz.

Raps have 9 of 12 games that are very winnable. That has not mean much lately.

Wiz only have 6 of 13 that look easy but they are playing well.

Sixers have 7 or 8 or their final 12 that look easy. And they are on a roll.

Slight advantage to Raps but we are playing crap while other two teams are playing great ball, so it looks pretty even.

43-41 is about the best the Raps can hope for now. Very disappointing season. The Bargs of last season is nowhere to be seen and Garbo being out for the year hurts. Delfino for MoP is a sideways move and Kap has been a total bust (not his fault). I dont see this thing turning around for the playoffs. A first round exit is almost written in stone now.

BC will have no choice but to make a big move this summer unless a ROY candidate falls to us in the draft somehow.
