The only thing I don't like is why draft a perimeter big man and then try to turn him into a completely different player? I just think that is stupid.

Draft a guy who has the skillset you need and just refine it. You dont try to remake a guy entirely.

The team is not looking to change Bargnani, they are looking for him to add to his game. Being able to mix in a jump hook or turnaround "J" on the low block will open up his shooting and driving game. Right now he can be guarded by a small forward. Adding a post up game to his 7 foot frame will force teams to guard him with a 4 or 5...and that is where he will use his perimeter skills.

Delfino along with all the other role players should stay unless they are going to be traded. With the exception of guys like Brezec/Graham/Baston, all of our players have some value and should not be thrown away for nothing.
