Bargnani for Biedrins - 5 reason why
Why?
1) bosh was not big on bargs from the get go and is more displeased than ever
Bosh not big on Bargnani
2) he's European so Mauricio G. will ok it
3)Even though Andris has played 2 more season in NBA his is amazingly 1 year younger than Bargs.
4) Raps needs rebound and defense - andris is 3x the rebounder and 2x the shot blocker despite playing in a way tougher west.
5) Bosh needs someone on the low block to absorb contact to preserve his body and reduce injury time.
OF NOTE:
FGP Andris = 0.626
FGP Bargs = 0.386
they share the same initial so it will take less work to change around the media guide.

Re: Bargnani for Biedrins - 5 reason why
yet another guy we could have drafted ahead of Araujo. If we had Biedrins, we would have traded down to get Roy and more assets instead of taking Bargnani. Man, the Babcock era really messed us up. Maybe Wince had a point in getting Dr. J as our GM back then.

Neither are good defenders and play soft... but atleast Andris atleast rebounds well.

Re: Bargnani for Biedrins - 5 reason why
There are lots of threads debating the Babcock era but I have always maintained that he took way more criticism than he deserved and may have eventually done much more with the capspace he helped to clear than what BC ended up doing. Babs never truly got the chance to make his mark with this team.
Hoff ended up a horrible pick but did look good in college and had stats about equal to Bogut who played in the same conference. No other C seemed even close to nba ready and the man who gave Babs the job, Mccloskey? pushed hard for Araujo who Babs never even saw workout. If Hoff had a better standing reach he would have been ok. If he knew he would be forced to trade VC I am sure his pick would have been different.
Babs also brought us Sam Mitchell - COY and who BC gave a huge contract extension. He stole Calderon for nothing. He surprised us with CharlieV who turned into quite a good pick. And Joey Graham was thought to be a top 10 pick who we got at 16. (I wanted Bynum and Green which probably would have been a better pair, even if Green would still be a bust here.)
Babs came in to a team that needed a C and a PG and got us both that summer. Rafer is the starting PG on Houston and helped them set a record long win streak and get into the playoffs without Yao. Babs turned Rafer into a short contract of Mike James who had a career year here. All good moves.
And Babs pursued Rasho the year prior to BC grabbing him. That was another Minny connection Babs was playing on. Spurs weren't ready to move Rasho until BC came in. That is just timing. Plus it was Babs who brought in both pieces used in the Rasho trade - Bonner (GG pick but Babs sign) and ATrain. Bonner was a great value signing.
He made lots of good moves and the 'horrible' VC trade cleared cap space and got rid of an anchor that was weighing the franchise down and allowed CB4 to become the leader.
I am curious who Babs would have signed with his capspace because BC did not bring in any stars with the most money we will have to spend in a long time.

Because Patrick O'Bryant and Kosta Perovic are due to break out and Bargs can play the 4 spot for GS?

I don't even think O'Bryant will be in the league next year.
Theres no way GS even consider. Try something more realistic.

Re: Bargnani for Biedrins - 5 reason why
andris is the only post player on the warriors.. also the only rebounder.
will baron davis even be back?
only reason i can think of g.state would even consider this, because bargnani is a 7 foot al harrington and good friends with bellineli, otherwise, No, they'd be stupid to trade a workhorse like biedrins.

Biedrins was my guy in that draft. (Not a wise preference but I'll live with it)
But he's far from ideal as a partner for Bosh.

B.C will not trade Bargs in the off season maybe during next season, Ford is surely gone I can vision Grahem being a throw in.

Good point about Baron - it could be a two player swap involving TJ Ford.
Bargs + TJ
for
Andris + (monta OR Mikeal Peitris & lottery pick)
dreaming ... yeah I know.

Re: Bargnani for Biedrins - 5 reason why
I think that actuly he cold be perfect fit. duo Bosh-Biedrins would be great. I watched him when he was 18. 3 mounths before he got drafted in one tournament (Petro, Belineli, Tomic were some names in turnament) rely impresed me and I think that he still did't reached his full potential.
