Johnson appeared in three preseason games where he totaled two points, one rebound and three blocks in 10 minutes. He was signed by the Raptors on September 17. Williams had two points and one rebound in four minutes in one contest. The Raptors signed Williams on August 13.

The training camp roster currently stands at 14 players. In accordance with league rules, the Raptors must set their opening day roster by Monday at 6 p.m. Teams are allowed 12 players on the active roster and up to three players on injured reserve.

The Raptors open their ninth season in the NBA on Wednesday when they play host to the defending Eastern Conference champion New Jersey Nets at Air Canada Centre at 8 p.m.

No surprise here. Looks like Menk is our first centre off the bench this year.

I think Raptors should release Chris Jefferies and Rick Brunson. After watching CJ last season, he's not too promising anymore and Rick Brunson is flat out the worse player in the league.

yeah i personally highly doubt cj's nba abilities

he didn't even impress me in summer league, where the calibre is low enough that ricky davis can drop 57 10 and 10 and only hit 1 3

i personally hope they keep bateer and brunson , because comedically, they are my two favorite players on the team

bateer because he is so lost, confused, and irrational

I question his commitment - he has a great NBA body, decent intelligence and a good shot. But because of injurys or personal problems or something this guy never seems to have his head in the game.
