Ouch. 6:0 Carrick, beautiful shot in the triangle.
Edit: 6:1. Come on Roma, only 4 more.

Re: 2006/07 Champions League Quarterfinal Leg 2
money makes the world go round. the financial power of the premiership is finally showing on the pitch too.
.. milan and bayern aren't poor either, but hopefully either of them can win this. if the final is an all english affair, let's just say I'm not going to torture myself with watching it.

I expected ManUnited to win that game, but I never thought they'll demolish Roma 7-1...I'm speechless.

You're just bitter that Arsenal isn't also part of the party. English Football is best, Arsenal should try playing some of it.
Fantastic day today. Man Utd showing why they are possibly the best in the world, and Chelsea showing that the EPL is the class of the world.
Hopefully we get Bayern. Would love to smash those *******s and then grab Hargreaves this summer off them.

Re: 2006/07 Champions League Quarterfinal Leg 2
I always knew Carrick had a good shot, there's no reason for him not to have one with such good feet. Everyone was immense today Fletcher played his heart out and won a lot of balls for us. Every Roma player was flatout disappointing, I certainly expected more from the likes of Mancini and Totti.
I'm estactic right now, with this our confidence must be blazing and the treble is becoming more and more a reality.
