Karl Malone scoreless
Scoreless, 0-7, for the first time in 18 seasons... that is crazy. Can you imagine being him and having not played a game in some 20 years without scoring.. must be a real weird feeling..
that is if he cares anymore.. he probably realizes that he has no shot at a ring anymore in Utah.

Watch out for the Lakers to pursue Malone and Pippen next offseason. I've heard some rumors about those two heading to LA...cheap.
Also...they may forget about those two and pursue Gary Payton, I can't see him playing in purple and gold, but Payton has made it pretty clear that he wants to play on a championship team.

Malone was sick. That is why he played so few minutes and played so poorly. Most players probably would have sat out instead of trying to play. He said he probably should not have tried to played.

Jackson might love Pippen, but not sure of his teammates in regards to Blazers or former Blazers... And Malone on the cheap? Sounds reasonable wanting to shut people up about rings, and Utah hasn't been the nicest place in recent years to him... but I just can't picture him, Shaq, and Kobe sharing shots that easily...

Two of my least favorite players on my favorite team??? No way!! Especially Malone. How is he going to go the Lakers after the comments he made about B. Scott "gravy-training" last year????
I don't buy it. Both those players can retire before they get to wear Laker gold.

If Rick Fox gets to wear "Laker gold", but two of the NBA's greatest players of all time don't, maybe it's not such an honor as you think it is.
