Trade Em Trade Em Trade Em Trade Em Trade Em!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TRADE Stockton and Malone. That's right, TRADE THEM! Right now. I know you can't get much for em, but you can at least get a late 1st round pick from the Lakers or some team like that. The Lakers are weak at the PF and the PG position...someone like Stock to distribute the ball around wouldn't hurt. Karl's 20 pts. a game would probably ice the championship for them.
I don't care who they trade them to, I just want them to TRADE STOCK AND KARL! As a die-hard Jazz fan, I've grown VERY tired of these 8th seeds, first-round exits, bad draft picks. Trade them, start Jackson until Lopez is healthy, give DSteve TONS of playing time, be smart with Kirilenko, and most of all, SUCK. SUCK HARD! We NEED a good draft pick...hell, we'd have a shot at Lebron James with this starting lineup!
Jackson
Stevenson
Kirilenko
Collins
Ostertag
GET THIS REBUILDING PROCESS STARTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have to find a way to take back alot of salary... Stockton and Malone both make tons of money.

Trading Stockton and Malone just to trade them is stupid. They can only trade them if they get quality players in return. Both contracts are up after this year. There is little chance they will get quality player in return. The Jazz will have take 25 to 30 Million off the cap at the end of the season. That is enough for 2 max contracts right? They can be a player in the free agent market. This how the Jazz are going to try to rebuild.
Come down off the ledge. It is also too early to panic. This team started exactly the same last year. They will recover and play better. They will probably be around a eight seed and lose in the first round.
BTW Stockton and Malone both have no trade clauses. Malone might accept a trade to a team that can contend for a title. Unfortunately I don't think any contender has players they are willing to give up that the Jazz would want in return for Malone. I don't think Stockton will accept a trade period.

I don't think Stockton and Malone would accept to be traded...
About the rebulding process I think is much easier when you have some experienced players to take away the pressure at the youngs. Kirilenko has potential, but they have to invest more in the future. As JoeF said they will have some free cap to try to rebuild.
PS: Don't trade them, they can win a NBA title (don't believe me? Just ask the mail man!)

What a biased coment. Anyway, both Malone and Stockton make lots of $. And no team in their right mind would trade for these players who have 2 years at the most left in them. And no team that is that close to the title needs them. Anyway i think both are set at finishing there career at Utah(people said the same thing about Rice and C.Carter so you never know). I rthink they both deserve to have a ring with all of the comitment and dedication they put into the league.

First off, how the hell is that biased? It's fact. The Lakers/Shaq/Kobe have all proven that Shaq is the true value to that team, and NOBODY has been able to even CONTAIN him during the playoffs!!!! (Oh, btw, I hate the LAL more than any team on the planet...I've just come to face the facts)
Second, I think they deserve a ring as well. But, as much as I love my Jazz, I know they won't get it in Utah. So trade them to a contender! Get a low draft pick or a solid young player...

As soon as he starts putting up around 20/10 with a respectable FG% consistantly you have a deal.

There are no contenders who are under the cap. You have to trade equal salary if you are over the cap. Last I heard the Clippers were the only team under the cap. Would Malone put them in the finals this year? Probably not. Is there 18-20 million in salary the Jazz would want? Probably none that is available. Malone is going nowhere and will probably resign next year for a reasonable amount. Same for Stockton if healthy.

I think most Utah fans feel the same about Malone to the Lakers. I have no problem with Malone getting a championship unless it is with the Lakers. I would love it if he went somewhere and helped knock off the Lakers.
