Wrist injury sidelines McLeod

The first time Utah played at Minnesota this season, a strained right hamstring kept Jazz point guard Keith McLeod from playing at his first — and only other — NBA home.
This time, it was his right wrist.
McLeod, in his second NBA season, sprained the wrist in the Jazz's Tuesday-night win over Portland.
He was fouled hard by Trail Blazers center Joel Przybilla while driving to the basket in the third quarter and stayed on the floor for several moments as Jazz trainer Gary Briggs raced to his side.
Rather than exit, McLeod shot the free throw that resulted and remained in the game. Wednesday, however, the wrist was too sore to play. No bones were broken, but McLeod was uncertain how long he'd be out.
"We'll see what happens," he said.
With McLeod out, veteran point and former John Stockton backup Howard Eisley made his first start of the season.
