DeShawn Stevenson....

He has been playing very well lately.

Whaddya think of this guy? In my opinion, if he can work on that J and be a little more agressive in going to the hoop on offense, he could be a very, very good player.

I think when Stockton and Malone are gone it is going to be Harpring and Kirilenko. I wouldn't be surprised to see Stevenson traded.

I don't see DeShawn getting traded...

I can't imagine many people wanting him...he's been in the L for the 3 years now, and he hasn't shown much improvement.

I think he is still tradeable. He is young, hasn't got a lot of minutes and the Jazz system doesn't allow him to use his talent. I doubt he has a lot of value but some teams would take a chance on him.

I just wished he went to KU. Just imagine this years team (he would be a JR this year)

PG-Aaron Miles
SG-Kirk Hinrich
SF-DeShawn Stevenson
PF-Wayne Simien
PF-Nick Collison

PF-Jeff Graves
SF-Keith Langford

But of course if he would've came to KU instead of "cheating" on the ACT. Langford could not been a Jayhawk, but still.

i call him an unnatural tweener in that he doesn't seem to know what his game is. do i drive or do i shoot the three...he needs to develop a mid range game as do most youngsters in the NBA. He only has a year maybe 2 left to prove himself.

i think he's learned a lot, including control and patience, over the last few years. he should play a big part in the jazz' next generation.

BTW, man he can FLY!

He can fly, but I've never seen him do a really cool dunk except in the Mc'Ds/NBA dunk contests...

If he could shoot...oh, if only he could shoot...

i think maybe he could end up a magette type of player, slasher defender, decent shooter... but he needs to put more hours into the gym

The Jazz are happy with his effort to become better. He is putting in tons of time with the Jazz coaching staff and also with Jeff Hornachek working on his shot. He is never going to be a great shooter. What you see is basically what you get. Unless he gets a lot more layups he is going to be an overall 40-45% shooter at best and a 30-35% 3 point shooter and I would go with the lower end estimates. The high end are probably very optimistic and the absolute best possible.

T-Mac was a huge waste of Raptor investment, he was trash for 3 or so years, and then he blew up, i dont understand why guys like these dont bother to go to school

because after three years of college if they aren't anything, then they become a 2nd round pick... but if they declare while playing well in highschool their 'stock' and 'potential' is high making them a first rounder and a guaranteed 3 year contract.

dont you guys remember that jermaine oneal's scoring avg. was under 5 points a game his first 4 seasons? and hes now a superstar. you guys cant consider stevenson a bust just quite yet. especailly considering his jumpshot has improved tremendously. if youve been watched the last part of the season you could tell that he is kinda getting the flow of the jazz offense now. he is pretty dang good when he roles of screens and shoots a fadaway jumper. he could become deadly pretty soon. and if he learns to be more aggressive and starts flying to the basket like he should, we have another all-star in the making. and another thing: he's not going to get traded this season. no way. he still has way too much upside that the jazz organization like. they didnt give him the one year extention on his contract for no reason. and larry h. miller already admited they haven't been giving him enough playing time to prove himself. so sit back and be patient. i promise you'll see another jermaine oneal-type breakout season next year. i can guarentee it.
