Game Thread: Jazz/Nuggets 4/12/06
 .............
38-39, Second, Northwest ...................... 44-34, First, Northwest
Wednesday, April 12th, 7:00 EDT, at home. Televised on League Pass, KJZZ and Altitude.

....................... The Delta Center
http://basketballboards.net/forum/sh...d.php?t=258179
Come bet some UCash on the Jazz to keep their Playoff hopes alive against the Denver Nuggets!
Probable Starters
Your Utah Jazz!
 .......... .................
Memo Okur................................ Carlos Boozer............................ Andrei Kirilenko
...................... ..........
...................... Matt Harpring ................ Deron Williams
The Denver Nuggets
 ....... ... ... ...
Patterson...... Miller...... Elson........ Anthony...... Camby
__________________________________________________ _________
The Jazz need this win; the Nuggets don't. Hopefully that means Utah will come out with a sense of urgency and play hard, while Denver relaxes and gives their starters light minutes to save them for the Playoffs. Wouldn't bet on it, though.
The Nuggets have their system down pat, with the return of a (relatively) healthy Marcus Camby, and that brat 'Melo is finally living up to his rookie year hype. If they come out with intensity and ride Anthony, it'll be tough to beat them.
But we have to.

The Jazz just need to take good shots, make their free throws, and limit turn overs and they should have a good chance at winning this game.

And use the zone more often!!! Denver is very weak behind the arc.

Wow Jazz with a killer 4th quarter tonight. 21 point win is a great thing. I just hope they can keep it comming, big runs are easier to go on at home, than on the road.
also, CJ Miles with 2 rebounds and 2 points. great to see him contribute.

Humphries also with 13 mins. I liked the boozer interview after the game. It sounded like he was having a lot of fun out there and likes the supporting cast. He is really sounding like he wants to be back next season.
You would have to be the stupidest person in the world to trade Boozer if he doesn't want to be traded, with the exeption of Isiah.

Yeah, he's saying all the right things.

Right now? Yeppers. I wonder how he'll be once the season's over? Will he still be saying the right things like he is now?
And I say this all the time: Isaiah Thomas isn't stupid. He's evil. People who hire him are stupid.
I sure hope the Jazz re-sign Matt. He's been hurt here and there, but damn, he's tough. He's been here a long time, always doing his best, and I'd hate to see him traded off.

Re: Game Thread: Jazz/Nuggets 4/12/06
Boozers 25 points and 13 rebounds is a rare thing in the NBA. Boozer can play PF and C. When Okur and Boozer both have big games, it usually ends in a win for the jazz.

We're going to need every bit of that 25/13 and for Memo to play big too if we're going to have any chance against San Antonio.
I just hate that every single game is a must-win now.

lol thats probably the best describtion of that situation I've ever heard.
I sure hope Boozer doesn't want to be traded, but I'm afraid he is doing this just to save face. because if he forces a trade then he'll have both Cavs and Jazz fans hating him. but if he makes it look like it was the Jazz idea, and for their best interest then Jazz fans wont be so hard on him.

Kings choked their guts up the other night against Phoenix Lakers are probably out of reach, but Sacramento could maybe blow up against Denver on the 15th. Let's hope that snot 'Melo is on his game bigtime.
