AK-47: With regards to your depth chart, and while I like it, it's not going to happen. I don't think Sloan will insert Dee Brown immediately into the back up PG spot. Remember the fact that sloan doesn't really like playing rookies a lot. I wish it would happen, but it wont, imo

That's why I put a paragraphy below it saying, that I think they might keep McLeod to play backup for now, then in half season I am sure Dee Brown will move ahead of McLeod. I mean, comeone, it's McLeod!

I'd pay somebody to take Keith McLeod. I'm serious. And I'd pay more to get rid of Milt Palacio. It horrifies me that the position once held by John Stockton is now reduced to those bozos.

I might have to *gasp* become a Jazz fan. Dee Brown and Deron Williams? Happy days are here again for us Illini fans.
Jazz fans and anyone who's a fan of exciting basketball should like Dee Brown. The guy moves in fast forward (and is a great guy).
Brian, any chance you found the Illinois-Arizona Elite 8 game on YouTube?

Yep, hell of a move by jazz managment. They just recruited Millions of fans. T.V. Rating should go up if they play up to the level that we all know they can be, without injuries. Will next year be the year without injuries? (or at least any major injuries).

Re: Deeeeeeeeeeeeee For Threeeeeeeeeeee
NBA Draft Interviews
Dee Brown - Jazz Second-Round Pick; 46th Overall
Q: What are your thoughts about playing with Deron and being reunited with him?
A: “It’s a wonderful thing. I’ve been talking to him all year about how it is out here, so it’s just great to be back with him.”
Q: What part of your game do you think this team needs?
A: “I’m going to play hard and play with a lot of energy. I know I’m going to be a great teammate. That’s the biggest part, playing hard with a lot of energy and being a good teammate. It’s looking like a great team. I love my teammates. I love my coaching staff, and I love my organization. That’s what I’m all about. That’s what I’m going to be about as long as I’m here in Utah.”
Q: Dee, what has Deron Williams told you about Coach Sloan?
A: “He just told me a few of the rules. Coming in, every coach is going to pick on the rookie. I know a lot about Coach Sloan. He’s a tough, hard-nosed guy. I like that. I can appreciate a coach that respects the game.”
Q: What do you know about Ronnie Brewer?
A: “We played him his freshman and sophomore year when I was a sophomore and junior. Both times he was incredible. I think he’s a great player.”

That was the greatest comeback I've ever seen. I remember every play of those last four minutes and OT like the game was last night.

It was posted before last season started. I watched it like 5 times, and said that Deron was going to be a huge pick for the jazz. And he was. And now we got his running mate, Dee Brown.

Re: Deeeeeeeeeeeeee For Threeeeeeeeeeee
There's gotta be a way to get Luther Head. S&T Matt Harpring? Dunno, but he seems a like a JVG type of player.

I think they are too attached to head to trade him for any player on the jazz but, boozer, okur, kirilenko, or deron. (but I dont want to trade either of those players.)

Re: Deeeeeeeeeeeeee For Threeeeeeeeeeee
But Rockets fans didn't all say no to trading Head + 7th pick for 5th (or something like that). If Harpring won't do it, maybe him and a few fillers? McLeod? CJ Miles?
