Re: Deeeeeeeeeeeeee For Threeeeeeeeeeee
I love this pick. During the NCAA tournament he was amazing. He reminded me like Deron last year in the tournament. There is no stop to him. He wanted to come out last year but hurt his leg in chicago during the pre draft camp. Very quick. Will just keep coming. He is an upgrade from Mccloud. He can hit the three and is not afraid to take the big shots. Putting him back together creates a good back court. Deron and dee at the pg, CJ, Ronnie and Giricek at the sg.

Re: Deeeeeeeeeeeeee For Threeeeeeeeeeee
Great pickup for the Jazz. I think they'll have their guards for the future now.

I think Brian34Cook just became a jazz fan after that one. Dee Brown was a steal!!!!

I was kinda hoping foolishly that Augustine would also slip and the the Jazz (didnt they have two picks in a row?) and pick them both.. but knew that woulda been too good to be true for me.. Haha..
But yes I'm becoming a big time fan of the Jazz right about now.. Make a trade for Cook and Luther then I'll be an even bigger one
Dee still has to make the Jazz.. I'm worried but not because of his work ethic..

Re: Deeeeeeeeeeeeee For Threeeeeeeeeeee
Here ya go somewhat..
Yahoo Scouting Report
Strengths: As a point guard, Brown has a good sense for being able to find the open man — especially off the dribble — thanks to his instincts and his unselfishness. His size and quickness allow him to stay low to the ground and minimize careless turnovers thanks to his ball-handling skills. He has extremely quick feet, superb instincts to stay in front of his man and anticipate steals, outstanding hands and a relentless motor. Brown has excellent intangibles, appearing to be the type of player who is programmed to succeed.
Weaknesses: Brown’s most obvious weakness is his size. He measured in at 6-feet in shoes at the Chicago pre-draft camp last year. He weighs 179 pounds with a 6-2 wingspan, all below average for an NBA point guard. He made the transition to full-time point guard only in his senior year and was very inconsistent scoring and running the point simultaneously. Brown is surprisingly weak at creating his own shot and taking the ball all the way to the hoop. He struggles to create space for himself breaking his man down off the dribble, as he lacks crafty ball-handling moves that most shot-creators possess.
Outlook: Brown projects as an excellent point guard to bring off the bench. The only question is how much an NBA team will value a player of this sort. Barring a surprisingly good or bad performance in private workouts, he is a strong candidate to be drafted somewhere from Nos. 20-40.
but dont worry with his boy Deron everything will be just fine with him!!

Wowsers, thanks to everyone who gave information about this kid. He sounds wonderful!
Brian34Cook, welcome to Jazz fanhood You're a love--shoulda been here ages ago.
Why're you a bit worried about him making the Jazz, though? With all this upside, what might be the problem?

Oh it's nothing major.. just he's a 2nd rounder and still has to make the team and sometimes that usually doesnt happen.. he should though so I aint really that worried..

Re: Deeeeeeeeeeeeee For Threeeeeeeeeeee
ummm, with the backup points guards we have now in Mcleod and Palacio, I would of took the ball boy for last season. Dee Brown will make the team, can't see how he wouldn't.
