I wouldn't want to give up Boozer, but if we could make a trade for Chandler I'd be all for it. We have a sore need for athleticism and defense in the paint, and that's exactly what he is. 7'1, unbelievable athlete, will come in and rebound, swat shots, and alter others. Make no mistake, he's ALL defense...I think he's a career 6 ppg guy or something like that. But with Boozer, Okur, and AK, we already get great contributions from our frontcourt offensively.

I know Chicago is shopping him...any reasons why we wouldn't want to look into a deal?

Erm, the thing you're missing is acquiring Chandler would probably make the Jazz the team with the highest paid frontcourt. And with Chandler, the most overpaid frontcourt as well.

Yeah. Chandler's a good idea, no question, but he costs way too much--and a lot more than the Jazz could/would ever consider paying.

Like Zo would ever come to utah, and the only way that we could get Chandler would be to trade Boozer for him which I don't agree with. But on a little side note boozer has got to be the worst at blocking shots for his size.
