Re: Utah Jazz: The Future Has Arrived (NBA 2K7 Franchise)
Game 1 Current Record 0-0
This Picture says it all. TMAC dominted the Jazz in the first game of the season. 93-102 The game was not as close as the score indicates.
Jazz trailed pretty much the whole game. TMAC lit it up early scoring 16 in the first quarter. Outscoring the whole Jazz team in the 1st. In the 2nd The jazz started getting to the line to try and cut the lead but the rockets kept exchanging scores with them. Finally Utah Began to mount a comeback as they had trailed by as much as 25. In the 4th Utah cut into the lead a great deal thanks to some sharp shooting from 2nd year guard Deron Williams going 5/7 from the 3 point arc. If there would've maybe been 3 more minutes the Utah Jazz could've maybe pulled off a miraculous comeback.

The next game does the Jazz no favors as they have to take on the high scoring Suns.
How will Kirilenko compare to Marion?
Can Amare get back to his dominate form?
How will Raja play against his former team?
Can the Jazz find a consistent scorer?

Re: Utah Jazz: The Future Has Arrived (NBA 2K7 Franchise)
Game 2 Current Record 0-1

The Jazz stuggled in the 3rd quarter could they come back and win againt the Hot Suns??
Jazz @ Suns
Boozer
Okur
Kirilenko
Giricek
Williams
Stoudamire
Diaw
Marion
Bell
Nash
The Utah Jazz match up more to the Phoenix Suns. Both teams lacking a true Center. Two great defenders at the 3 in Marion and Kirilenko. Allthough the Jazz are more defensive oriented. Can they possibly stop the Suns? Or even score themelves?
The game started off a lot better for the Jazz as they were able to exchange scores with the high powered suns. The Jazz tried to get the big men involved early and were happy with the results as Okur ended the first quarter with 8 PTS and 2 REB. Amare was the leader for suns with 6 PTS and 3 REBS. The Jazz lead 24-23 going into the 2nd quarter. In the 2nd quarter the Jazz built up a 13 point lead but the suns widdeld the lead down and eventually took the lead by 1 at half the score was 46-47 Suns. This game looking really promising for a great ending was not the case in the 3rd Marion took over and scored 11 Points and 4 rebounds. Bell also added 7 as the Suns took a 61-75 lead going into the 4th. In the 4th Utah began to get desperate so they started shooting a lot more 3's shots were just not falling for them. In the final minutes the Jazz began to cut into the lead thanks to andrei's hard work on defense and on offense. But in the end Marion was just too much as the jazz lost the second straight game of the season. The jazz are hoping to rebound against the Golden State Warriors.

Can the Jazz win their first game or will thye lose for the 3rd straight time?
Will Kirilenko continue his strong defensive play?
Also the Utah Jazz would like to announce they will be having a Press Conference for the fans. So if you have any questions about the team this year then just ask. We will begin to answer questions after the warriors game.

Boozer must be underrated in this game, he should be able to get 20 points easily from watching him last season.

Not so much thats he's underrated. But yes he is. But it's a lot harder to score with your back towards the basket this year. I've been more of a shooting team this year. I try to run the pick and roll and it works on accasion. But Boozer just isn't really dominating. Also it doesn't help that im getting down early so i have to play catch up. But thanks for reading.

Re: Utah Jazz: The Future Has Arrived (NBA 2K7 Franchise)
Game 3 current record 0-2

This is all the Jazz needed to beat the warriors.
The Jazz looked to win their first game of the season agaisnt the 1-1 Warriors. The start of this game like the others started with utah falling behind in the first but rallying in the final minutes of the 1stto make it a close game again. After the first the Warriors led 30-27. With Baron Davis scoring 15 PTS in the 1st. Okur was the leading man with 13 for utah. In the 2nd quarter things began to get out of hand as the Jazz' rookies had thier best games. Millsap, Brewer, and Brown combined for 28 points in the 2nd quarter giving utah a 43-60 lead going into the third. Warriors continued to struggle on defense and offense as they only managed 15 points in the 3rd and allowed 37. With Utah being up 58-97 going into the 4th the Jazz decided to play their young guys for the rest of the game. Long story short the Jazz humiliated the Warriors final score 74-126. With Utahs bench scoring more then all of the warriors team.

Utah again has a tuff upcoming opponent The Detroit Pistons allthough they are without Ben wallace this team is still very deadly.
Can Utah win agaisnt a top team or will they fail like the first 2 games?
How will the Pistons fair without Big Ben?
How long before Brewer starts?
Will Sloan finally decide this is the year to play rookies a fair amount of minutes?
Remember the press conference is now. So ask away.
Week Stats
Boozer-8.3 PPG, 3.0 ORPG, 6.3 RPG
Okur-16.0 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 2.0 APG
Kirilenko-15.7 PPG, 7.7 RPG, 3.7 SPG, 4.7 BPG
Giricek-3.3 PPG, 2.0 SPG
Williams-11.3 PPG, 7.7 APG
Collins-10.3 PPG, 5.3 RPG
Millsap-7.7 PPG, 2.0 BPG
Harpring-6.0 PPG
Brewer-8.3 PPG, 3.7 APG, 1.7 SPG
Fisher-8.0 PPG, 5.0 APG, 2.0 SPG
Brown-8.5 PPG, 2.5 APG
Miles-4.0 PPG, 3.0 RPG, 3 APG-1 Game Played
We will try to get Boozer and Giricek going early in the game agaisnt the Pistons. Andrei has been very sold for us. We have got to stop missing so many inside shots and we really need to start to contain the teams star player but with the Pistons and Nets coming up it's going to be hard because those teams have 2 or 3 guys that can drop 40 on any given night.

Re: Utah Jazz: The Future Has Arrived (NBA 2K7 Franchise)
Game 4 Current Record 1-2
Pistons @ Jazz
Lineup
Jazz
Okur
Boozer
Kirilenko
Giricek
Williams
Pistons
Mohammed
Wallace
Prince
Hamilton
Billups

Derek Fisher was on line in this game but would it be enough to knock off the Pistons?
In the first quarter utah lead most of the time, connecting on their frst 8 shots going 8/8 to start th game. However the pistons rallied behind PG Chauncey Billups. At the end of the first it was tied 24 all. The second quarter was not any different then the final minutes of the first as each team contered the other. The jazz led by 44-42 going into the half. With the Jazz having very even scoring 4 players with 6 points 3 with 5. As for the pistons Billups lead the way with 12 and Prince added 9. Mohammed had 10 Rebounds by half. Only noticable difference in stats was turnovers as the pistons had 11 and utah only had 1. 3rd quarter neither team missed a beat Billups pouring in 11 points in the 3rd and fisher racking up 14 for the game the score was once agained tied 67-67. 4th quarter came around a the pistons began to pull away leading by 8 but utah came back to make it a close game The jazz trailed by 3 with under 15 seconds to play. Deron took the ball up the court ran behind a okur screen and barried the 3 to tie the game. with 8 seconds left the pistons inbounded the ball pass it around and rip hamilton somehow got wide open he took the shot as time expred and......
he missed. OT we go early in OT the pistons began to once again go up on the utah jazz the pistons on a fast break lead the ball to rip and kirilenko trailing behind contested the hot and thought he got a clean block but the refs called a foul and that was number 6 for the jazz' star player. Sloan had to make a tough decison with Prince scoring in overtime coach sloan opted to put in the young rookie for his defense. Ronnie didn't disappoint as he held his own against Prince and picked up 3 blocks in OT including a strip on Tayshaun prnce and lead pass to fisher to put the jazz up just enough. Billups tried to lead a comeback but fisher was just too strong hitting his clutch free throws and knocking down a late game 3. The jazz edged out the Pistons 112-107. With fisher scoring 8 poins in overtime.

Re: Utah Jazz: The Future Has Arrived (NBA 2K7 Franchise)
Game 5 Current record 2-2
Nets(1-1) @ Jazz(2-2)

Vince and Andrei were in top form tonight too bad it was in opposite quarter. Vince 1st and 4th. Andrei 2nd and 3rd.
The game started out really wel for Vince Carter and the Nets as Vince hit everything from all over the floor as the Jazz agains gave up a big 1st quarter performance. 27-21 Nets lead by Vince carter with 16 PTS in the first quarter. In the Second Utah began to run more and get inside baskets and force missed shots. Utah held Vince Carter to 0 Points in the 2nd quarter. The Jazz lead 42-48 going into the half. With once again spread out scoring AK-8, Brewer-7, Harp-7. Vince was still New Jerseys leader with the same 16 Points. In the 3rd quarter things began to get out of hand for the nets as Vince again struggled and could not put up any points in the 3rd either. Jefferson carried the load in the 3rd but only managed 9 points as utah began to pull away thanks to Andrei's strong offensive play the Jazz lead 54-71 going into the 4th. In the 4th the nets tried to mount a comeback Vince finally started scoring again but it was too little to late as the jazz had a big enough lead that no matter what new jersey did the jaz could conuter. Final score 76-96.

Ah, I play my games too.
I've beat the Rockets and Suns, but lost to the Warriors (I increased the difficulty midway through the Suns game).

Re: Utah Jazz: The Future Has Arrived (NBA 2K7 Franchise)
Game 6 Current record 3-2

Maybe Utah should've traded for Wally World afterall?
The Game began with Harpring getting his first start this year. Jazz defense held the celts superstar Paul Pierce to just 6 points in the 1st quarter Wally added 6 aswell. And as for utah 6 a piece for Boozer and Giricek. As the Jazz lead 16-24. In the 2nd the jazz began to struggle as they let Wally and pierce walk all over them the 2 combined for 24 in the 2nd. The Jazz once again had spread out scoring Gira-8, Okur-7, Fisher-7. Boston lead 51-44 at the half. In the 3rd the jazz again contained bostons sharp shooter as they only combined for 8 points. Utah again lead going into the 4th 65-70. In the 4th the jazz started to miss open shots. Andrei who had been in foul trouble the whole game was basically a non factor despite his 5 Blocks. The Jazz continued to run the pick and role most of the time with Boozer being on the other side. However Wally and Pierce were just too much for the jazz hitting their jumpers and the jazz lacking a true go to guy suffer as they were unable to comeback. The Boston Celtics won 98-93. They snap utahs 3 game winning streak.
