Re: unlucky's 2k7 Jazz season
Game 17:
Jazz (8-8) @ Lakers (7-7)
Andrei Kirilenko made the trip to Los Angeles, fully healthy, and ready to take on the best scorer in the NBA - Kobe Bryant.
The Jazz hung tough through the first half, despite Okur and Boozer doing absolutely nothing on the court. Kwame Brown paced the Lakers with 14 points and 12 rebounds by halftime.
During the second half the Jazz opened up a small lead and nursed it for the majority of the 3rd.
Foul trouble had plagued Deron Williams all the way up until the 4th quarter. He helped the Jazz break open the game late, taking a 6-point lead off a nifty assist to Paul Millsap with only 1 minute left in the game. Kobe Bryant continued to march to the free throw line, but his efforts fell short as the Jazz took out the Lakers to improve to 1 game over .500. Gordan Giricek continued to play strong as he has over the past 5 games.

Deron Williams - 22pts, 6ast
Andrei Kirilenko - 19pts, 6ast, 3stl

Re: unlucky's 2k7 Jazz season
Game 18:
Sonics (10-7) vs Jazz (9-8)
The Jazz headed back to Salt Lake City to take on the Sonics in another important divisional game.
Carlos Boozer paced the Jazz during the 1st quarter, despite his nagging wrist sprain that still limits his mobility, scoring 9 points. The Sonics were led to a 29-23 lead after 1, thanks to the hot outside shooting from Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis.
The two teams battled consistently and evenly for the duration of the 2nd, as the Sonics took a 6-point lead into halftime.
The Jazz guards dominated the 3rd period, leading the Jazz back and taking a 5-point lead heading into the 4th quarter. Gordan Giricek had 12 points and 10 assists, as well as Deron Williams having 20 points and 6 assists to lead the charge.
The Jazz continued to rally, building a 9-point lead early in the 4th. The quarter was filled with a dazzle of 3-point shots from both sides of the court, keeping the score relatively the same, as the Jazz would fluctuate their lead from anywhere between 6 and 11. The Jazz re-inserted their starters and rolled, on their way to defeating the Sonics for the second time on the season.

Game 19:
Bucks (11-5) vs Jazz (10-8)
The Jazz tried to extend their winning streak on Monday as they played host to the resurgent Bucks.
Both teams started slow and were cold from the field, entering the half with the Jazz holding a 43-40 lead. Jarron Collins led the way for the Jazz in the 1st half scoring 9 points. The teams combined for 43% shooting and only 6 fast break points.
The second half continued with drowsy play until the Bucks broke the game open on a Bobby Simmons 4-point play after hitting the 3 and getting fouled by Kirilenko. The Bucks took an 8-point lead into the 4th quarter as the Jazz shot only 37% for the 3rd quarter.
The Bucks opened up a 14-point lead in the 4th, and continued to have the Jazz's number as it was an uphill battle for the home team. The Jazz battled back during the last few minutes, but it was not enough time as the Bucks iced it 96-83.
