Deron Williams was brilliant.

CJ probably won't be starting the whole season. Giricek is also still good to have on the bench if you need to spread the defense. We all know how off and on our outside shooting can be.

I expect to see a lot fewer trade Boozer threads if he can keep this up. He was unreal tonight - with Malone-esque numbers.

Re: Game 1: Jazz [H] vs Rockets [A]
By the way, this game was great to be there!
The Brewer one-handed oop was great. The place was also very crowded, probably very near to selling out.

Re: Game 1: Jazz [H] vs Rockets [A]
I would of went to the jazz game, but it was bowling night and I was watching as much as I could on the TV. I didn't know if CJ was ready or not to start, but I guess he proved me wrong.

Re: Game 1: Jazz [H] vs Rockets [A]
While the Jazz need shooting, they need perimeter D more.
Fisher does both anyway, and he'll play the 2. GG seems to be, as we stand now, the fourth SG.

Re: Game 1: Jazz [H] vs Rockets [A]
That tells you how much more depth we have this year. Giricek would of been the starting SG by no other choice. Now he is a 4th SG on our team.

Foul Trouble gaurding McGrady.
Plus he didn't take many shots. Most of the O ran through Boozer. With good reason, I may add.

2/3 FG% shooting, but like DWD said, foul trouble.

If we can win a game with Kirilenko barely being there, then jeez, you have to feel good about this team.

I hope so...
Not because I don't like Rawse, but because I like Boozer.

Saw Brewer on a 2-on-1 fastbreak jumper. He didn't get benched all that much.
