Well, the jazz fought all the way out coming back from being down. They just couldn't pull it off at the end. Can't win them all. Let's look onto the Celtics on Friday.

Hahahaha... YEAH! Denver lost to the freakin KNICKS, at home!
We might as well just be handed this division right now. Portland is in second place!

YES, Seeing that brat 'Melo and his lumpy team not win and not win and not win makes me happy. Sad about Utah losing tonight, of course, but the knowledge that Denver also lost makes it a little nicer a night.

Can't win them all, I was actually expecting a lose tonight. A well rested Nets on home court was bound to do more damage than any team we have faced in the 4 wins.

Re: Game 5: Jazz vs Nets
Yeah... athletically they are a better team. Though, the 2nd quarter of this game was inexcusably bad.
I think we will beat Boston and Milwaukee. If Redd is on fire, then we might lose the Milwaukee game... but I don't think that is likely.
At this point, it's really up to the Jazz to LOSE games. They've shown well enough that they can take the driver's seat for the entire game and ride it out. In New Jersey they just flat out gave the game away during the 2nd and played like garbage.

My prediction is a win here and a letdown in Boston. I'm always hoping I'm wrong in predicting losses, but we gotta lose sometime.

lol
(from a nets fan who predicted a nets win with the jazz scoring in the 80's)
but you are going to be right about a letdown in Boston jkjk

Re: Game 5: Jazz vs Nets
The Jazz could have hit 100 if they didn't play like crap during the 2nd quarter. This team was unusually flat last night.

Re: Game 5: Jazz vs Nets
I didn't know what to expect in this game with a healthy Boozer and the addition of Dereck Fisher.
The starting lineup is solid Deron Williams looked good.
The Nets coaching staff had plenty of time to prepair for Utah didn't let players get comfortable looks except Boozer.
Not sure why Sloan didn't play him in the fourth but I'll guess matchups had something to do do with it. Regardless it still went down to the wire.
Congratulations on the start of the season hope they stay healthy and make the playoffs.

Trolling aside, I was surprised at the outcome. Expected at least 210 total points score. I guess my prediction of a letdown came a game early. Better against the Nets since we could lose to them without a letdown.

Not making excuses, but what you just said could of been a possiblity.
1. net coaches prepared
2. 4 day rest
3. game at home with the sixth man (fans)
4. Jazz big headed
5. Sloan didn't rotate the players like he has been
those are my top 5 reasons why the jazz stinked it up and wern't playing like they have the 4 games before that.

As the opponent I give a lot of respect to the way Utah played. The defense and execution on offense is good. *Kirilenko was beasting on defense
I understand Utah's scoring was down the Nets are a good defensive team and with the 4 days had plenty of time for Laurence Frank to strategize.

Thanks, I was very impressed by the way the nets held us in which the pistons failed to do. You guys fought till the end and closed out a close game in the final minute. Good luck the rest of the way, see your team in Utah!
