Farewell to the Delta Center

The Utah Jazz is renaming its arena the EnergySolutions Arena, ending its 15-year agreement with Delta Air Lines.
Jazz President Dennis Haslam said Monday the Delta Center will be renamed for the Utah-based company, a national nuclear waste company with headquarters in Utah. EnergySolutions was formed in February from the merger of four companies, including Envirocare of Utah, which operated the nation's largest commercial waste facility in Tooele County.

The owner has been a season ticket holder for the Jazz since '88. His loyalty is there with the jazz. You can't say the same about the Delta people.

I don't like the name, I think its stupid to change it, especially in the middle of the season. but with that being said, its better than being called Enron Feild.

Middle of the season? 10 games into the year is the middle(I say 10 not 11 because the 11th game was played with the new name)? But yes the new name will take some time to get used to. at least it's not cald the artic circle. although that does have a nice ring to it.
