Will the Jazz finish this east coast road trip 4-1?
The Jazz 5 game east road trip looks like this
Indiana- W
Knicks- L
Hawks (Wednesday)-
Bobcats (Friday)-
Grizzlies (Saturday)-
The Grizzlies game is what worries me the most. After those tough loses, none of these games seems comfortable for me to watch.

With that schedule, MEM would be the only game to cause any concerns, but MEM is in such disarray that I wouldn't worry about it.

Doesn't look too tough to me.
Looks good for my fantasy team. Deron, Memo, and AK-47 are all on my team, making me a Jazz fan by proxy.

Good choice since you choose 3 of the top 4 jazz players. Crazy when you think years ago AK was the best player and now he is the 3rd or 4th best player on the team. Kevin Oconnor did a hell of a job getting talent through FA's, trades, and the draft. You can't go wrong with Deron Williams.

All three remaining teams are beatable. The Knicks game was surreal - especially in Marbury going the length of the court in three seconds to lay it in...
Being a Jerry Sloan-coached team, I have faith that they will win out - resulting in a 4-1 record overall on the trip.

The knicks game, the Jazz struggled bad. They couldn't hit shots, even when they were wide open. None of their shots were going in. It was very frustrating since they had a good 34 point 1st quarter. Deron Williams almost saved the day, god he is becoming a great player and is showing he hasn't lost any of his clutch since college.

He trained with St. John, how could he not be insanely good?
Seriously, training with someone like Stockton is the best thing for a point guard to do - regardless of which team he playes for. It's even better than Pete Newell's Big Man Camp. Deron is a real pleasure to watch these days.

Re: Will the Jazz finish this east coast road trip 4-1?
yeah, Deron has complimented Stockton several times about him helping his game. He says Stockton had helped a lot. They papers have asked Stockton about it, Stockton doesn't say anything.
I can imagine the phone call.
"Yes hello John, this is so and so from the Salt Lake Tribune..." 'Click'..
Stock never did like the Media.

Just another thing to love about the greatest pure point guard to ever play the game.

There's that "pure point guard" reference again...

Re: Will the Jazz finish this east coast road trip 4-1?
Stockton valued his team more than personal accomplishments. He just wanted to pass the ball more than shoot. Not saying he couldn't shoot when open, but he would pass up any shot to get his team mates involved. He was pure in that he was a pass first, defensive threat, Point Guard.

Re: Will the Jazz finish this east coast road trip 4-1?
I think the Jazz will lose another game. Over the last... however many games, they have played sub-.500 and lost some really embarrassing games. They should have lost in Atlanta last night.
This team is good but I don't think by any means a team that can stomp people night in and night out... yet.

And unlike the Bulls, they managed to do it without totally wiping themselves out.
