Mo Pete

Word is that the Jazz are showing the most interest him out of anyone. He's a decent shooter, and no slouch on defense. A good character guy, and should get along fine with Sloan. I love the idea of Mo waiting at the arc after a Boozer/Deron pick & roll or a pass from inside the paint. How about you guys?

Re: Mo Pete

I think it would be a great add and fit for the Jazz. SG is their one obvious weakness, and adding a player like Peterson would be just what they need. I think they drafted Almond to address the SG and scoring issue, but he is just a rookie so he is unproven (I think he was the perfect draft pick for them and am glad to see him slide there).

Assuming you sign Peterson to part of the MLE which is doable, then your roster looks like this.

PG: Deron
SG: Peterson
SF: Kirilinko
PF: Boozer
C: Okur

With Fisher (Backup 1/2) Almond (Backup 2/3) and Milsap (Backup 4) all being extremely capable reserves. I like it and makes Utah competible in the West again. It's a crapshoot on who wins the west and it is basically a game of matchups and who is the healthiest. But that is a team that definitely has the talent to go far and would be a darkhorse championship team. I wonder what the odds in Vegas will be?
