What's the deal with this guy? He was a beast at BYU, and he had a ton of potential going in the lottery.

I don't see him play a lot, so what's the scoop? Is he not aggressive enough, or does he suck at this level? I've always been a fan of his and would love to see him catch on somewhere.

Seeing as he's on your roster (for now-Spain's a callin') I thought I'd come to you guys for the 411.

Erm..

His offensive game is pretty bad. He's worked on it a lot, but right now he just comes across as an oaf with very little touch around the basket. The reason he was great in college is because he was 2x the size of every other center there, so he could push them around and score easily.

As a defender, I think he's just too short and his arms are too stubby to be anything great. Of all things, he's an average rebounder, but he has very good speed for a big man. I just don't think he's built for the NBA, quite honestly. His high drafting was just a mirage, but you couldn't ask for a harder-working kid.

In international ball, he'd probably be pretty good.

He used steroids back in college, got busted in international play. No steroids = no beast power.

By the way, Araujo is on the outs. The Jazz signed their newest 2nd-rounder in Fesenko (from the Ukraine). Araujo has not been offered a contract, but I think he'll find a spot on a team, somewhere.

Hopefully he'll regain some confidence while playing in Russia.
I'd love to see this guy at least maintain a journeyman player for 10 years in the league or so.

It's rare for a solid player to come out of BYU for basektball anymore...just ask Austin Ainge.

Ainge is a total scrub.

And with Young gone the team is going to have a rough season. I have no confidence in Plaisted at all. Cummard is a role player at best.
