Being a fan of Carlos as a player for many years now, I have just found another reason to have even greater respect for this man. During an interview with Jim Rome, Boozer talked about his son's recent bone marrow transplant and his continuous battle against sickle-cell anemia. Boozer also spoke of raising money for families who are unable to afford this procedure for their own children through his "Boozer's Buddies" foundation. Jazz fans I'm sure may have already been aware of this, but I just thought it was a very worthy topic of discussion and a prime example of how not everybody in the NBA is a self-absorbed primadonna. Boozer is a class act and deserves to be recognized as such. Good for you Carlos, best wishes to your son and your entire family.
